  1. Yes, seen that often, usually on the inside face of the rotor. However, should have been picked up earlier at service or pad replacement. As above, check all pistons etc, however normal wear and tear, bordering on neglect in my book. Alex.
  2. In that case, check these guys out: http://www.tlcdetailing.co.uk/
  3. Loom just unplugs at ECU and easy to pull through to engine bay and drop with the power unit.
  4. Okay Bradders, you win: Let's start this off with the cheapest option. Yes or no and then we can move on. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/111684728753?adgroupid=13585920426&hlpht=true&hlpv=2&rlsatarget=kwd-75951448386&adtype=pla&ff3=1&lpid=122&poi=9046842&ul_noapp=true&limghlpsr=true&ff19=0&device=c&chn=ps&campaignid=207297426&crdt=0&ff12=67&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff14=122&viphx=1&ops=true&ff13=80
  5. If you post up the parts that you or your engine builder want/require then your question can be answered. However as I said in my first post: GET YOUR ENGINE BUILDER TO SUPPLY THE PARTS. Your plan is a sure way to lose a friend if it goes belly up.
  6. IMHO you are best to get your engine builder to answer these questions and also to supply all the parts. Once he has a full understanding on what your detailed requirements are, then he should be in a position to provide informed advice and recommendations.
  7. I have pre owned in stock in various colours. Wait a minute, if you mean the black plastics then I have them as well.
  8. Try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes, however you really need to get a code to sort this if it is not a loose connection, so a better procedure is to find out what codes are present before clearing them. Instead of turning the key off the fourth time, leave it on. A different blink pattern will appear and tell you which unit or units the diagnostic unit thinks are at fault. These patterns are shown in the Service Manual beginning on page SRS-34. Alex.
  9. As an after thought, it would be rude of me not to mention that I have a few sets of Brembo calipers in stock. Some are mint and others could do with paint / powder coat. All pistons and bleed screws are free. Just drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.
  10. This in normal practise, not just for Nissan but for most marques. Certain specialist jobs are best sub contracted out. These guys (Car Hood Warehouse) appear to have a good rep. http://www.carhood.com/
  11. What Mitz has said. You can get into all sorts of issues if the nipples are seized in and they snap off during attempted removal. If this happens then the caliper has to be removed and sent off to the machine shop for professional removal. You can not successfully just drill and tap in situ. Alex.
  12. Oh hell yeah. Diff or coilovers where would your money go as priority Depends on what your objectives are.
  13. For Girls. What do you run on your beast? Kazz 2 way, set at 60% lock: very quiet.
  14. to the forum mate. I am just up the road from you, so next time you are in the Perth area, be sure to swing by. Alex.
