    The cheaper the disc, the quicker they appear to rust. When applying Hammerite, best to keep the face where the wheel or spacer marries up to paint free or you will eventually get DTV.

    I was jesting about lighting up the tyres. If the revs are climbing without any increase in speed then the clutch must be slipping. Is your car a DE or HR ? What mileage has the car covered ?

    Robert, your service guy is talking utter tosh. The seals or spark plug tubes will be the issue and not the gasket.

    There should be no load on the joints with all 4 wheels on the ground. Your images suggest that your drop links are way out and require adjustment. There should be no load and the links should sit at circa 90 degrees.

    Gary, You are correct that the fly is located with a dowel pin, however the untrained can sometimes still manage to fit it wrong. Alex.

    I would be looking at the Crank Position Sensor or perhaps the flywheel fitted in the wrong position. Alex.

    Despite what has been said on this forum many times over, the after market bracing is NOT a replacement for the OEM "W" shape brace which is fitted from the factory. As Dan has said, the after market bracing supplements the OEM "W" shape brace.

    It really is horses for courses Andy, and there is always a trade off if the car is for both track and road. There is a TS 4 hour open pit, track event on Saturday 31st October at Knockhill if you are interested.
