  1. So, do I listen to the manufacturer or some randoms from the interweb? Randoms it is! I'll do it this weekend and post the video up. YOLO etc.
  2. Tight? Moi??!! Do I look frickin' Scottish to you lot! Tbh I've never got this low on a pot before, I've still got half a pot of DJ Blue Velvet and Swissvax Zuffenhousen sitting around, but this is only a lickle pot of the DJSN. I reckon I've another two applications at least in there if I scrape it!
  3. Boo, that doesn't sound like fun at all Come on, no-one going to tell me that microwaving is a great idea?!
  4. And no, I don't just mean run out and you need to buy a new pot I've a small pot of Supernatural that I've had for a while now and it's done a good few applications, but it's now getting to the point where a quick dap of the pad isn't getting any product as it's all round the edges of the pot. Is there an easy way to solve this? My initial thought was to chuck it in the microwave for a few mins to melt it, and then let it reset at the bottom of the pot. Is that genius, or an incredibly stupid idea? I'm sure it's one or the other! Or do I just scrape it out with a knife and put it into a different container?
  5. I would only polish when necessary, so for example on my own car once I'd done the correction as best possible with the DAS6 I then put the coat of wax on. From then on all I've needed to do is to wash and reapply the wax if it needed a top up. In a more straightforward answer to your question though, yes you'd prep the same and just substitute sealant for wax.
  6. I'm only jealous 'cos it's a bloody nightmare keeping my black fleet clean
  7. Silver and grey never look clean, but then they never look dirty either so it's a good compromise
  8. £12.5K for a 296? No thanks. Car is probably fine, but why pay more for less?
  9. Yup, not impossible. Usually they were Irish imports, huge batch of them. Unless you're getting a bargain, then I'd just get a HR model, far better engine. Although no sat-nav is a good thing IMHO.
  10. No not at all mate, stick with what you've got, if nothing else it'll give you some practice and all those products are easy to use.
  11. It won't work until noon today.
  12. Check your IT policy. I'm guessing it will say that they have the right to monitor all messages and if anything is found to be dodgy, then they can and will take action. In theory, as Ioneabee said above, if anyone has been stupid enough to commit anything dodgy to internal email then they could well find themselves dismissed on gross misconduct. Spreading rumours/lies about senior partners or the business as a whole is not a particularly smart idea!
  13. No dealers with a Zed near you?
  14. A great community is a what the internet is built for (apart from pr0n), and there's a good reason that so many people who sell their Zed stick around here.
  15. Meh, just stay above 40mph and you don't get wet
  16. Why would you not put the roof down in the winter?
  17. Drive them both, very different cars. For me if it was a weekend toy I'd lean towards the S2K, for a daily drive I'd take a Zed. No reason you couldn't do either in both though IYSWIM.

    Tasteful ?

    Different. Different isn't always good.
  19. Very kind of you to offer her matey, but I think my other half might be a tad annoyed if I took another woman away
  20. You can only have one when you sell the beetle and get a zed. I'm trying!
  21. I'll give this a punt for a tenner, if there's space on the list. A PM would be most gratifying. Thanks for sorting this out matey, much appreciated.
  22. She runs fine, rusts better
  23. Tbh there's loads of stuff that's better than the Megs stuff you've bought, however it's all more expensive too. I started off with pretty much the exact same kit as you, and whilst I wouldn't buy that stuff again there's actually very little wrong with it if you use it properly. You'll find the paint cleaner and polish nigh-on useless by hand, but the wax smells lovely and the clay bar is still the stuff I'd buy if I couldn't find their pro kit. I quite like their GC shampoo, so it's very much an each to their own thing on that. Either way, you'll have fun using it all and end up with a lovely shiny car at the end
