  1. But I see no men in that picture I'm pretty sure at least three of them used to be.
  2. Quick Google says that the receivers are paired with the hardware from factory, and cannot be switched out for another. This may have happened somewhere down the line, so you need to return the whole lot if we get no joy.
  3. Installed intellitype pro?
  4. Are the batteries round the right way? Lights come on on the devices?
  5. This thread gets the Official Ekona Seal Of Approval
  6. Usually you need to install the software, then plug it in. Try removing everything and then start again, and do it that way round.
  7. And another daft question, what do the instructions say?
  8. It's a 2004 car, so price accordingly. Add maybe £500 for your mods.
  9. He could reject it, but it would be a long process and a bit drawn out. Might not even be acceptable in this case, as it's just a noise and doesn't effect the working of the car, so the court may not rule in his favour. Maybe. I agree with you, they can regrease for free and hope it doesn't come back within a reasonable period (3 mths probably) else they'll be doing it again, or the kit could be fitted. If the OP buys the kit and the garage fits for free, I'd say that's a win/win all round.
  10. Ace Of Base were excellent. I bought the Daphne & Celeste album which I guess most folks would find embarrassing, but it's far from the worst album I own. It's more enjoyable than any of the Eminem albums I own, for example.
  11. Nope, if not picked up on before the car is delivered then it's classed as a fault, it's on the dealer to fix from this point. Why would it be on the buyer to fix? If the buyer didn't pick up on a slight tick from the engine and it went bang two days later, would you expect the buyer to sort that too? On a private sale I agree with you, but not when buying from a dealer. To the OP, no harm in printing the instructions off, the dealer may appreciate the heads up, just remember to say that the noise definitely wasn't there when you looked at the car originally.
  12. Glad it's not just me then! I was quoted a Jan delivery when ordered back in Oct, however when I picked up our Transit in Dec (ordered at the same time) the dealer said that on new Wildtrak orders they were quoting a Sept delivery, so I didn't expect to get it in Jan at that point. Ford do need to step up production on these things at launch, we had similar issues with the last gen Ranger too.
  13. The new ford ranger is a bit of a beast its our best selling pickup by a long way at the moment had a lot of local farmers move from navara and L200 into them for the increased towing capacity I've had my Wildtrak on order for months, still no delivery date
  14. I'm a Ford Ranger fan, have had them all over the last ten years. You'll be lucky to see 27mpg on average, even driving like a granny. These things are so heavy that they rape fuel big time. More than comfortable to use everyday though, mine does and it's lovely.

    Tyre choice

Sizes are correct. Michelin PSS can be picked up now for less than £800 for all four, you'd be mad to pick anything else. Miles above every other tyre you mention.
  16. I believe this difference isn't down to the filter shape or size, it's down to (as I think you've suspected) how open the filter is. Put it in an air box and you muffle the noise, leave it open and you can hear more. Same principle with everything, really. From quiet to loud: Air box with panel filter Air box with cone filter (I have this setup on the 911) Open cone filter There's probably some flash name to do with soundwave dynamics but I've no idea what that is!
  17. And then get arrested for sexual harassment
  18. So what was the car then?
  19. I didn't get my free gift
  20. But you had no way of knowing, and he did you a favour by pointing it out. I suspect the attitude test may have been failed along with the lightbulb
  21. Did you thank him for letting you know?
  22. +1 ... no issues Neither of you are driving hard enough then
  23. Awful news matey, but for what little it's worth you did the right thing stopping and speaking to the owner.
