  1. Thanks bud, I'll do that today
  2. Hi guys, The bolts holding in the heat shield have corroded on my 2003 350, leaving it to hang and rattle against the exhaust. I have a Cobra system fitted, do I need to remove the back box before being able to take out the heat shield? Or will it slide out? I've read that it should be OK to take it out (as opposed to welding or bolting it back in). Any advice is appreciated.. Cheers
  3. Thought the same thing.. even did a ctrl+f for "£"!!
  4. To drive it in Germany during the winter, it has to have winter tyres on. If you get pulled you will be raped, brutally. If you do put winter tyres on it, I'd be pretty impressed if you managed to bin it. Another thing.. if the car is in the drive then it does not need winter tyres. Should you decide to buy a 400 euro shed for the winter then it's fine to stay there without them fitted.
  5. No way, that's absolutely nothing! I had an alloy once that was pretty buckled and chipped. Took it to a local (South West) welding specialist and for £60 it was repaired and balanced perfectly. If you don't know of any nearby and none come up on here, call a local tyre specialist and see if they can recommend one.
  6. Looks cool! How are you finding it? Thinking of getting something similar.. but tbh the OEM wheel is pretty decent.
  7. Love those, good choice out of the list (speaking entirely from a practical perspective of course!).
  8. Welcome.. I got mine at 19 and paid around the same for insurance, so presumably the quote was from Admiral? If so, don't worry about it changing too much.. mine didn't!
  9. Satin! Excuse the potato-spec picture quality and the dirt..
  10. Words can't really do justice to the crew at the 'shed, fantastic bunch and they all have really bent over backwards to sort me out on many occasions (one instance in particular..! *cough* ). Not just the mechanical side of things though, the hospitality is spot on. Truly decent people who I can't thank enough.
  11. Customer service/quality is simply brilliant from CS, couldn't recommend them more.

Well, ideally I'm looking for a cheaper option that carries noise. So far my attention has been drawn to the K1/Cobra/Scorpion.. though having seen all of these in the flesh (non-resonated), I would say that the K1 seems the most aggressive.

That does indeed sound pretty cool, what's the fitment like?

I'm not a big fan of silence.
