Neither. It's whoever the seller wants to sell to. I'd sell to the person who offered me more, or the person I feel is more likely to pay. For example, I'd rather sell to you Ian than random bloke, even if they technically got there first. If you must have an answer out of me, all else being equal then I'd sell to the person who actually PM'd first.

Which Z4? E85 or E89? I can tell you a well-driven E85 3L can keep up with a poorly driven VXR220 on a tight track Mate of mine has just bought a Z4M ragtop, lovely car and that engine is to die for.

I don't get the necessity to own a rare car. I couldn't give a toss if I was the only person in the world to have one or everybody had one, I just buy the car that's right for me. How many may or may not exist of a particular model is irrelevant, unless I'm buying a car for an investment.
