  1. Coupe does handle better. Less weight, stiffer chassis, why would it not? Cars are about more than just that though. They're about how they make you feel, and having that roof down makes up for a hell of a lot..
  2. Zackerly. That one only does A weighting though, not B weighting. I can't remember now which one you use for exhaust noise though Even at £30, you could buy one and sell it to the next person for £29, then he sells it for £28, and so on.
  3. My sofa wasn't £5k! It was £4995
  4. Front or rear? 20K on the rears is quite frankly staggering, but assuming everything else stays the same then yes, you could see that kind of mileage out of a set of MPSS. As well as better grip, feel, noise etc.
  5. In terms of content, I consider £85pcm to be better value than £145.50 for the TV licence itself.
  6. I pay £85 a month for Sky and I still think that's good value.
  7. How much longer do MPSS last over the other options, is the question being posed. A lot, is the answer. I'd estimate somewhere near 1.5 to 2 times as longer lasting.
  8. It's only £9! Get a few other people together, make a day of it.
  9. Just cancel the DD.
  10. Hint: Push the options to get through to the new sales team, they have plenty more lines available and can transfer you quicker Also, don't call at peak times when everybody else is.
  11. Lol massive optimism there!
  12. Good news Sometimes these things just glitch for no apparent reason, but if the sensor does fail again in the next month or so I would still take it back to where you bought it from and get them to sort it.

    Decats - cel light

True, but if they're too far out they won't read any gas at all and will throw a light.
  14. You're kidding, right? If it's not raining, the roof should be down. Even better on those summer nights or as I mentioned above, winter days when there's snow around.
  15. Or enjoy those glorious sunny days or chilly winter ones with the roof down and the wind blowing in your hair... Oh wait, yes you can! Downsides to the ragtop are limited to the extra weight really. Other than that they're as good a GT as the coupe, but only personal preference will decide whether you can live with the slightly rediced bootspace (don't forget you have the Tardis when the roof is up), and risk of a dodgy roof mechanism. You can get golf clubs into a ragtop, yes. Put it this way, I'd have another ragtop in an instant, but if I was buying again I'd buy the coupe because of the superior driving dynamics.
  16. I'd quite like to test one of those against a proper noise meter, just to see how accurate they are. If they're within 1dB I'd be happy with that, if 3dB out then they're useless.

    My next car

I didn't say they were slower Just that it would feel like it after the rush of a turbo.
  18. No chance a K1, even bunged, was only 80dB. That's barely louder than stock! Can you pop along to a TD beforehand and get them to measure it? Failing that, hire a dB meter from Bookatrack (£13 inc p&p) and test it yourself. Really, for the future of trackdays we as enthusiasts should be making sure our exhausts are as quiet as possible. Don't give the NIMBYs anything to complain over. If possible, pop the cats back on and the stock exhaust, at least that way you're 100% sure you'll pass.

    Decats - cel light

Did you try it without the extra extenders?

    Decats - cel light

Get bigger O2 sensor extenders. Don't just ignore the light, as you'll never know if you have a genuine problem.
  21. My dad's bigger than your dad. It's not supercharged. I don't need to ring him to tell that. Box of Curly Wurlys if I'm wrong.
