  1. Your shopping list is much improved now, thanks for changing it. I genuinely mean that as well matey, massive long sigs and tiny posts are an internet peeve of mine!
  2. But yeah, it will be heaving those days more than likely.
  3. There's quite a few TF days, but only three times a year where there's four days back to back, which they dub as 'Green Hell' purely for promotion purposes.
  4. Same thing, just that it's a batch of four TF days in a row. They're doing three of them this year.
  5. Ah, that makes more sense then. It wasn't clear originally, y'see.
  6. It was a serious question. The second you drive off the ramps something is going to settle, regardless of how many times you do it. I know it looks good from a customer service POV, but it's ultimately a waste of time for both them and you.
  7. But then what happens the week after that, when things have moved again?
  8. Wow. That is some shopping list right there. Twice as long as your post!
  9. Just as much as MW's name not being mentioned anywhere on the press release
  10. Not quite yet, the 911 needs to go first. But soon!
  11. MX-5 is now RIP. Gone to the great breaker's in the sky. I repaired most of the leaks myself in the end, which was good, but then the RHS rear spring went. And then the LHS rear spring went. At that point, and knowing what I could end up doing if start started snapping if I tried a repair, I called it quits. I stripped all the good stuff off in an afternoon, and called the local scrappy to come take it away this morning. It's now gone, and left an empty space in my heart. Down to just four vehicles again now. Booooo.
  12. Wales 2014 or Wales 2015? I'm not committing to either at this rate!
  13. If it's evidence, then they can force you to hand it over. Or worse, you have an accident and are taken to hospital before you can grab and dispose of the evidence: Police come along, see you have a cam and take it to view later before you even know they've done it. Nothing illegal there. Like I say, if you're 100% perfect then there are zero downsides. If you're not, you just need to be aware of the consequences.
  14. I used to! My first ever car I bought myself (one month after passing my test) was a 1.8 TDdi Focus in Moondust Silver. I still miss it today, lovely thing it was
  15. I never knew you like Focuseses so much. ;)
  16. Preferable, but not necessary IMHO. I've never washed after a clay or before polishing, as if you do the initial wash properly along with using enough QD, then it's not needed. Of course, each to their own and you cannot possibly do any damage by adding another washing stage in, it just adds time to the process.
  17. Don't use the spray wax: That's a wax, not a detailing spray Get yourself the Megs clay bar kit, it comes with a perfectly decent clay and a full spray bottle.
  18. Yes, and there's loads of this been covered before, but basically you want to be doing this in this order: WASH to get the obvious dirt off CLAY to remove the very fine stuff POLISH to improve the paintwork and give the shine WAX to protect that shine Many different products available for each step, but even if you chose the crappiest of each you'd still end up with a car that looks much better than it does now.
  19. Merc have the best looking car this year, then. Shame that the RB is going to be the winner
  20. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters. My point wasn't research based (be good to see yours though, if you have it to hand), it was more theory-based. You say it's important to run a tankful of premium super through now and again due to the extra cleaning chemicals, correct? If that's the case, I'm assuming then that you're aware that the various products I mentioned will do much more short-term help than a single tank of premium super will, as they're much more potent. I've run numerous cars from MR2s, 350Z, MX5, Impreza, 911 and the Mini both before and after using a can of 10K Boost. It makes so much more of a difference to the engine than any minor change running premium super over non-premium super does, which is why I'd recommend doing that and saving yourself a few quid.
  21. For the most part, yes. However, if you know that sometimes the red mist descends, or you don't always comply with the speed limits, then it may not be a great plan.
  22. Only get one if you're sure you're a perfect driver, or can dispose of it very very quickly.
  23. You mean Renault sound, TR have switched engine suppliers this year
