  1. I have a pic of the salesman giving me the keys when I bought the 911
  2. Sounds good! Got any mr2 bits I can take too?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Actually, I've got a Markiii intake pipe in the garage I could be tempted to part with. We'll have a chat when you come round and see what you think.
  3. Nothing so far. :likeafool:
  4. Great idea! How about we start though with a bone stock 350Z, on say Alps Festival? Pure driving skill (or lack thereof on my part!) only, no tuning. Any aids the driver wants, though.
  5. HEL would be fine as well, I think that's what I run on mine actually You can have a good nose at mine on Sunday, might give you some inspiration.
  6. Apologies for not getting a specific challenge sorted out yet lads, I'm still currently Xbone and wheel-less until the replacements arrive. Hopefully soon!
  7. Brake fluid change is a must, and tbh for £50 I'd chuck a set of Goodridge brake lines on there too. If you don't have one already then a front strut brace would be a great buy (the cheapy £105 one on eBay is more than good enough, it's a better shape than most too as it clears the brake fluid bottle), but other than that I'd say that a standard mk3 is good to go. Stock brakes will be fine with stock power, there's a load of chassis bracing I'd do too but you can get to that down the line, along with a decent seat and steering wheel.
  8. ^^^ A million times this. I'd never do a TF day, but a proper track day there was great fun. Bit late now you've booked though! I'm sure you'll be okay, just remember you're not insured so drive with that in mind
  9. I binned mine, as pretty much it's only effective on the highest and lowest (sport and eco) modes. Eco just made the car feel rubbish, and sport made it too twitchy. Just put your foot down a bit slower or quicker to achieve the same effect. It's a nice gimmick, but really Nissan did a great job with their accelerator calibration. Much better than Porsche did on theirs, but that's another story.
  10. Your shopping list is much improved now, thanks for changing it. I genuinely mean that as well matey, massive long sigs and tiny posts are an internet peeve of mine!
  11. But yeah, it will be heaving those days more than likely.
  12. There's quite a few TF days, but only three times a year where there's four days back to back, which they dub as 'Green Hell' purely for promotion purposes.
  13. Mk3 MR2? The ragtop version?
  14. Same thing, just that it's a batch of four TF days in a row. They're doing three of them this year.
  15. Ah, that makes more sense then. It wasn't clear originally, y'see.
  16. It was a serious question. The second you drive off the ramps something is going to settle, regardless of how many times you do it. I know it looks good from a customer service POV, but it's ultimately a waste of time for both them and you.
  17. But then what happens the week after that, when things have moved again?
  18. Wow. That is some shopping list right there. Twice as long as your post!
  19. Just as much as MW's name not being mentioned anywhere on the press release
  20. Not quite yet, the 911 needs to go first. But soon!
  21. MX-5 is now RIP. Gone to the great breaker's in the sky. I repaired most of the leaks myself in the end, which was good, but then the RHS rear spring went. And then the LHS rear spring went. At that point, and knowing what I could end up doing if start started snapping if I tried a repair, I called it quits. I stripped all the good stuff off in an afternoon, and called the local scrappy to come take it away this morning. It's now gone, and left an empty space in my heart. Down to just four vehicles again now. Booooo.
  22. Wales 2014 or Wales 2015? I'm not committing to either at this rate!
  23. Friday. Allegedly. We shall see.
  24. If it's evidence, then they can force you to hand it over. Or worse, you have an accident and are taken to hospital before you can grab and dispose of the evidence: Police come along, see you have a cam and take it to view later before you even know they've done it. Nothing illegal there. Like I say, if you're 100% perfect then there are zero downsides. If you're not, you just need to be aware of the consequences.
  25. I used to! My first ever car I bought myself (one month after passing my test) was a 1.8 TDdi Focus in Moondust Silver. I still miss it today, lovely thing it was
