I don't often sell stuff on here, but when I do IT'S LIKE THE GREATEST THING EVAR!!!11 So here we have, for your perusal, the finest Xbox 360 steering wheel I've ever owned. It's seen me through some great days on Forza 2 and Forza 3, and yet is a Forza 4 virgin as I never got round to buying it. Behold, the wonder! Stunning, isn't it? Sadly I have cleaned it so there's no chance of you being able to clone me, but I can include a hair sample for the right price. On a more serious note, it still works perfectly and the force feedback is still smooth and pretty impressive for a wireless wheel. Sadly I no longer have the table clamp for it (tbh, it was a bit pants) so I guess you'll just have to treat yourself to my second item as well: One Wheelstand Pro, specifically designed for the Xbox 360 wireless wheel! Superb piece of kit, and possibly the greatest gaming gadget that doesn't have a wire I've ever bought. Fully adjustable for the perfect position regardless of sitting on a couch, a stool or a proper racing bucket. You can leave the wheel attached and still fold it up so you can keep it away from wifey when she starts moaning. All brackets included, including the two little white plastic bits that lock the wheel in place and always get lost (they're inside the duct tape, I'm not silly!), and all mechanisms move silky smooth. I'm after £95 for the pair, 'cos that's what my new WSP is costing me and I just want to cover that. P&P is extra, but I'll deliver if you're within a couple of hours of Braintree or you can collect or we can sort something out. I'll post if you want, but I've no idea how much. Tell you what, to keep it fair whatever the cost to ship is I'll go 50/50 with the buyer. 'Cos I'm nice like that. GO ON, TREAT YOURSELF! Insert generic pic of both bits with the ubiquitous sheet of paper right at the end because I kinda forgot to do a proper one when taking the first photos

Sodding wheel is dead on arrival Thrustmaster to their credit though are sending me out a replacement one, and pre-paid instructions to send my current one back. Still very irritating though.

Adrian flux - Good service, poor insurance cancellation refund
Ekona replied to georgerobertfreeman's topic in Insurance
And how is that anyone's fault but your own? You had a chance to review the documents before signing up, if you weren't happy with the cancellation refund policy then you could've gone with someone else. I agree it's a bit low, however that's not really something I'd be naming and shaming on the internet for tbh. -
I don't even need to brake for Eau Rouge, just a fraction of a lift and I'm good to go. No oomph on the Kemmel straight though

He's seriously quick, no doubt. The trouble is that I prefer handling to power, which leaves my cars incredible through the corners but a bit gutless on the straights. That's fine with the Drivatars, but for the rivals it's just not good enough. Through the first section of Road Atlanta I can keep up and even start to catch Will, but on the straights he leaves me for dead. I'll try a power tune and see what happens.

I'll have a look when I get home for you bud

I run pretty much the same as you Will, except I use normal steering and manual without clutch. Looking forward to seeing how my times change (better or worse!) with a wheel and pedals.

Drop the 's'. www.gog.com

It does, yes. You can cut some corners of the track, or over run some marking lines, but you need to learn where the game will let you do this. The bottom of the Corckscrew at Laguna Seca is a good example.
-
Nah, it's much lower than that: Mine's only C500 because I've tuned it.
-
Any excursion from the track means a lap is counted as dirty, and not rated as highly as a clean lap, i.e. a 1:50.500 dirty lap would be marked as slower than a 1:55.333 clean lap.
-
I took mine out for a blat yesterday, after fitting the FSB and also changing a duff O2 sensor. It's utterly superb, and having spent the previous day driving the 911 I'd forgotten just how much later you can brake in a car that weighs so little. Immense fun, I love it.

I've assumed they're clean, but I'll make it clear in the first post

Incredibly twitchy 350z in Icy Conditions
Ekona replied to georgerobertfreeman's topic in 350Z General
Need to know what tyres and more importantly, what condition and age they are. -
I don't think they're anything alike, I believe 500PP is much higher than C500. M3 GTR in GT6 is 497pp stock, and that's way quicker than my sheddy little BRZ!
-
Who said a TTRS was 'better' than a GTR?
-
Clean laps only of course, unless stated otherwise
-
By not playing online, sadly. It really is filled with first-corner muppets.

I know the feeling

Right, I'll keep this first post edited for gamertags, but if we can keep quote each other when we add a new time, then that keeps that side of things cool. Chuck a post up with your GT (and time, if you've got one), once we have a list of tags then all we need to do is to keep the times up to date. I agree, C-class is much more fun than A-class. I might have a go later Will Tell you what, I'll start a new thread and try and keep it tidy.

If you've got the money and can afford to smoke, as well as enjoy it, then go ahead and smoke. If you haven't got the money, or could put it to better use, then stop. It really is that simple. Well, it's bastard hard actually, but all you have to do is to just not light up. Be honest with yourselves, if you'd actually like to quit then try, don't then justify the waste of money that these e-cigs are by saying it's better for you. Yeah it is, but you still look f'ing daft standing there with one hanging out of your mouth. Go on, honestly, who here would actually quite like to not smoke and have the money instead?
-
Just stop if money is an issue, surely?

It really is a good piece of kit for sure, and I look forward to compare it to the TX. The guys on ISR rate the TX above the T500 when you use the Ferrari GTE wheel and the T3PA pedal set, which is very high praise indeed. Can't find the pedal set anywhere sadly, but I'll definitely get the wheel as the 458 one is gash.
