  1. Filmed in portrait, instant death by stoning.
  2. Never did that for me on the 360. Granted, may not be quite as pretty if you're not installing mods, but at least it's playable with all the DLC on.
  3. You don't even want to know the cost of the Beissbarth system then...!
  4. What was your oil level when the light first came on?
  5. I still say you're getting a geo for your money, and they're just using a generic term to avoid confusion. But hey, if I'm wrong and they're just going to put the lines in the green then that's a massive rip-off.
  6. I'd rather have an '8 than a '7. Seriously. Not sure why, as the 7 is prettier & has more power, they've both got fragile engines etc. There's just something about the 8 that I find more appealing. Maybe it's the fact they haven't got a turbo and most of them don't have ugly bodykits stuck to them like the 7s, or maybe it's the fact they're so cheap now they'd make a great track toy Yeah, I'm odd. I know.
  7. We need to clarify the whole alignment/geo thing here. £150 is very expensive for an alignment. £150 is a good price for a geo. Using Beissbarth gear, I suspect Will is getting the latter. That's my very poor terminology usage in my first post.
  8. Sorry no, from Will re the Ring.
  9. Oh well, if it's on Facebook it must be true! Fingers crossed it is, I reckon they could be a good owner but only if they truly understand the Ring.
  10. I await confirmation with interest. Nowt on any major news website, nor STR, Capricorn or the Ring itself, but then I don't have all the insider contacts you do.
  11. RX8 is a good one, hadn't thought of that
  12. Coupes can now have four doors too, just to confuse things (CLS!). I think of swoopy lines when I think of coupes, so while the GT-Rs may technically be coupes I will continue to view them in my mind as saloons due to the boxy shape of them. That makes me wrong, I know, but there you go.
  13. But nobody wants to be a plumber! I don't know anyone who enjoys it as a career. Oi, I resemble that comment! I mostly sit in a warm office these days, being sarcastic on the internet whilst eating donuts and telling other people what to do. Works for me!
  14. There's a difference between an alignment to get the lines in the green areas (cheap as chips, £60 tops) and a proper geo done by people who know how different cars react to different settings (more expensive, I've paid £300 before for the best). Don't be fooled into thinking that anyone with a Hunter system, is the best: As I've said before, a bloke with a couple of bits of string can do a better job if he knows his chips. Go where the knowledge is, not where they charge the least.
  15. Touring Car track pack would be amazing, but I seriously doubt the appeal to anyone other than UK-based drivers. Don't forget, Forza is an American franchise first and foremost. I think the lack of cars and tracks is pretty poor, tbh. I forgave them at first because I still adore the physics, but when you play SP and get the bonus races it's incredibly tedious. Shame.
  16. I've got the season pass, seemed a no-brainer considering I know that I'm going to lap up every last bit of DLC for this I very much doubt we'll ever see the Ring on F5. The sheer amount of work to get a normal track up to F5 standards with the new mapping system is immense, much less a place like the Ring. It would be nice mind, but I'd rather see Suzuka and Tsukuba back if I'm honest. The Ring doesn't really do a lot for me, either in game or in real life.
  17. That's well within the range I'd expect, especially using Beissbarth gear. You could get it done elsewhere, but for a full alignment including all adjustments that's a very good price.
  18. It's not a waste, it's an investment I love racing games, but on a pad it's just not the same. With a wheel, it becomes so much more real and you can truly appreciate the skill of the programming to get the cars to feel the way they do. I'll chuck in a copy of F2 or F3 (or both if I've got them) from my collection too, if you want.
  19. G27 will not fit due to the top mounting bracket (it's why I need a new one!), and because I'm a gimp I undid everything before taking a photo of it together Here's a stock image though, and it really does look like this: I hd mine more reclined, but you can set it up any way you want it. When I bought it, I didn't expect it to be half as clever as it actually is.
  20. I was rushing so I could keep it updated, and all I did was c+p your time across. I didn't check if it was faster than the guy above, so please accept my humble apologies for this heinous error. I'll update it now. Going forward, it would probably be easier if we updated this ourselves via quotes. Just c+p the lap times (don't need the GTs as they can stay on the first page as reference), and then I'll update them once a week or so. The current times to aim for would then be the ones that the guy before you has posted IYSWIM. Also, anyone game for a special challenge, if I set one up? i.e. a specific car and class challenge, or a stock car challenge.
  21. Looks ace matey, lucky sod
  22. TX458. Comes with the gash Ferrari 458 wheel though, so I've ordered the less gash 458 Challenge GTE wheel to go with it. I'll grab the T3PA three pedal set too when they finally get round to selling it over here.

    Just Checking

Well, to be fair if all you want is tyres that last forever and are quiet then I guess they're a good option. I'd rather walk, but each to their own.
  24. Bloody hell Pallet
