At least you did the right thing. It doesn't help you, but you covered yourself and that's all you can do.

A used Cayman is a better drive than a new 370Z. That's just the way it is, same as a GT-R is quicker than a 911 Turbo. Depends on what you want from the car, and if you want something that cruises well but looks a bit different then the 370Z is where you go. If you want the better car and don't give a hoot that a billion other people have them and they all look the same then you get the Cayman. It would be very unfair to pit the Nismo against a base Cayman. They're not even in the same league, dynamically speaking. Then to be fair, the Cayman is that good that there's not much out there from any manufacturer that competes until you're in silly money.

At least you were never uninsured.

Would you buy a car if you'd not seen it start from cold?
Ekona replied to Flex's topic in Other Cars
Car may start from cold but have hot start problems, and vice versa. You'll never protect yourself against everything, so just do the best with what you've got. It wouldn't bother me either way. -
Fodder's got it in one, that's the exact bit. I kept getting spotted when laying the mines. I did struggle with the APC bit through the park too
-
I'm stuck on the bit where you have to sneak through the old town, with the patrolling tank. No matter what way I go, I get spotted and blown to smithereens.

I quite like the BF4 SP game, but I've got to a bit where I get stuck so it's irritating me somewhat. MP is very good fun, even though I'm still awful at it

Reboot, on the Xbone. Hated the first couple of games, they were turgid nonsense with awful controls. Quite enjoying the reboot, although I HATE wolves now. Stupid things. Only very early on though, so interested to see where it goes from here.

Imagine a pub that's got huge signs on the outside and inside stating exactly what beers they sell, and what price. The staff put these 6ft signs up by the door to help people who kept coming in asking the same questions over and over. One day you walk in, spot the sign but don't bother to read it carefully, and march straight up to the bar and say "What beers do you sell? How much are they mate?", and wonder why the barkeep rolls his eyes at you. Similar thing. Like you say, opinions and arseholes, but every single response in this thread has been covered before, and recently too. As I said, if people make an effort but still can't find the answer then by all means start a new thread, and let us know what you searched for and where and we can guide you towards using the search function in a more positive way. Just posting up "What induction kit should I buy?" without bothering to search is borderline rude, IMHO.

Yay me too I like Hollyoaks Got caught up playing Tomb Raider as well, as I missed that when it first came out. 'Tis good.
-
But that's because people keep asking the same questions over and over and over again, which means the actual knowledge gets spread across multiple threads and it makes it harder for the next person to find what they need. In turn, they then create another thread about the same subject and so the cycle continues. I don't mind people asking the same stuff again, as long as they've had a go searching, either via Google or via the search function here.

I'm back bitches This wheel is f*cking amazing, even with the cheaper pedals as the three-pedal set isn't available yet. So much feedback it makes your arms ache, but it never feels excessive. The F1 car is just crazy with this setup, way more mental that with just a pad! Mega bucks, but mega brilliant.

Soooooon... Hollyoaks first!

And it broke again Very bizarre really: I left it overnight installing DR3 on disc, and downloading all my other games. I went to try it this morning and it wouldn't recognise any disc at all, nor play any game that didn't need a disc. I gave it 10 mins of faffing, then went to work. Spoke to Xbox support (the same guy, he rang me actually to make sure everything went okay, top service) and he said that it sounded like I'd got another duff one with disc drive issues, which isn't unheard of. He's going to call me back later to run through a few diagnostics before sending me out another unit. However... I came home and thought I'd give it another go, but this time shut it down properly not using the quick start feature, and lo and behold it's all fixed! Everything works fine, discs are read as normal as I'm installing Ryse as we speak, and I can play games again. FYI, when you load a game there's a small bit of time between 20 secs to 1 min whilst it downloads your saves from the cloud, then it's as if you never left it. So in short, if you have an issue then call Xbox Support on 0800 587 1102 and they will bend over backwards to help you out, don't bother with the lying turds online Now to plug my wheel in and see what Forza 5 is meant to be like

It's fine. It's been around for years now, it's just the E85 (which is mostly ethanol) that you can't use.
-
Definitely not N15. Looks like a try-hard plate.

Do yourself a favour and get yourself booked in at Center Gravity with Chris, before the race season starts and he's fully booked. Best £300 you will ever spend, he'll transform the car for you.

Got Spa the same month sadly, so will probably have to give that one a miss. Def need to book some other days up soon though, give us a shout if you've anything else planned
-
Sounds like a fair swap, BM for BM I'm down in Essex, sadly. I get a nosebleed if I go north of Watford

As I've always said, 99% of the time you probably won't notice the difference, but on that odd occasion where you desperately need predictable and equal grip all round to avoid ditch/wall/lorry, you'll be glad you did it right.
-
Depends if he wants the sale or not.

IT LIVES AGAIN No need to put the discs in either, you can just download the games if you've had them installed previously. I'm sure I'll need the disc to play still, but it's a nice touch. For some odd reason it doesn't remember that I've got Ryse, Lego Marvel and DR3 as well though, so will do those in a bit.

3.8 litres and 6 cylinders to 5 litres and 10 cylinders? Seems like a step forward to me I know what you're getting at though mate, and you're right, but there's something to be said for a completely different ownership experience. I don't use the 911 as a sports car any more, it's mostly as a long distance cruiser. Put it this way, would the M6 have been any less fun on my Spain trip? Or doing LM this year? Or raping it round the IoM? Probably not.

ssssssshhhhhhh the credit card will hear you
