I genuinely don't see how not having the GBP is a good thing for Scotland. They can spin it and say "Look at the big bad people in London choosing for you!", but that's turgid nonsense. A significant amount of their plans relied heavily on keeping the GBP, that the UK wouldn't be brave enough to call their bluff. Now they have, what happens? Where are the financial plans put in place for this eventuality? What currency do you go for? There were many very obvious holes in the Yes argument over finances already that counted on 'certainties' like keeping the pound, and the house of cards could well crumble now. It's all very well and good chest beating and feeling superior because you're making your own decisions, but if that means you're back in the dark ages you have to ask if it's worth it?

I agree, that's why I don't think it's a great move for the UK as a whole. Not sure how it's a positive for the Yes camp though: If you stay with the GBP then Westminster is still making the decisions for you!

It would appear to have put a significant dent in the Yes camp, that's for sure. Not saying that the UK would be any better off from the situation, but I'm glad that they've drawn the line in the sand over this rather than the ifs, buts, and maybes we had before.

No such thing as best, depends on how you want the car to handle and that will work in conjunction with your other settings. Do you want great handling at the expense of tyre wear, or do you want your tyres to last a long time?

Nissan do one (I had one for mine), may not include the HID bulb but if stopped by some petty minded gendarme doing a random check it's certainly going to mass their muster

People who don't buy cars because they're too common or don't like the badge are idiots, tbh. I hate the Vauxhall badge, but bought the VXR over the Elise purely because I wanted turbo shove. I bought the fat, ugly Datsun over the S2K because I wanted a V6. I didn't buy an M3 because it should've excited me, but didn't. I can understand people genuinely preferring the 370 over a Cayman because they prefer the styling (inside or out), or because they don't want a mid-engined car, or for any other one of a billion other reasons apart from the ones in my opening sentence. The standard 370 gets better looking externally with every year that passes. I hated it at first, but I really like them now. As long as you're happy with your purchase, and your decisions are logical, then I'm cool with that.

A used Cayman is a better drive than a new 370Z. That's just the way it is, same as a GT-R is quicker than a 911 Turbo. Depends on what you want from the car, and if you want something that cruises well but looks a bit different then the 370Z is where you go. If you want the better car and don't give a hoot that a billion other people have them and they all look the same then you get the Cayman. It would be very unfair to pit the Nismo against a base Cayman. They're not even in the same league, dynamically speaking. Then to be fair, the Cayman is that good that there's not much out there from any manufacturer that competes until you're in silly money.

Car may start from cold but have hot start problems, and vice versa. You'll never protect yourself against everything, so just do the best with what you've got. It wouldn't bother me either way.

Fodder's got it in one, that's the exact bit. I kept getting spotted when laying the mines. I did struggle with the APC bit through the park too

I'm stuck on the bit where you have to sneak through the old town, with the patrolling tank. No matter what way I go, I get spotted and blown to smithereens.

I quite like the BF4 SP game, but I've got to a bit where I get stuck so it's irritating me somewhat. MP is very good fun, even though I'm still awful at it

Reboot, on the Xbone. Hated the first couple of games, they were turgid nonsense with awful controls. Quite enjoying the reboot, although I HATE wolves now. Stupid things. Only very early on though, so interested to see where it goes from here.

Imagine a pub that's got huge signs on the outside and inside stating exactly what beers they sell, and what price. The staff put these 6ft signs up by the door to help people who kept coming in asking the same questions over and over. One day you walk in, spot the sign but don't bother to read it carefully, and march straight up to the bar and say "What beers do you sell? How much are they mate?", and wonder why the barkeep rolls his eyes at you. Similar thing. Like you say, opinions and arseholes, but every single response in this thread has been covered before, and recently too. As I said, if people make an effort but still can't find the answer then by all means start a new thread, and let us know what you searched for and where and we can guide you towards using the search function in a more positive way. Just posting up "What induction kit should I buy?" without bothering to search is borderline rude, IMHO.
