@Doc Agreed, but there's modified with an exhaust and a remap, and then there's modifying adding bigger turbos a la GTRs. One frees up a bit over the manufacturer safety limits, one adds horrendous amounts and costs a fortune to go with it. I'd still call them close enough as to not worry about it. Bizarre timing, as I'm going to look at an M6 on Sunday.

I always thought they did, then after seeing your post thought I should probably do some research Loads of vids here of them doing 200+, no idea what power they're putting out but none seem turbocharged or anything. Not conclusive proof obviously, but I suspect they can't all be wrong. These things seem awfully interesting all of a sudden...

Genius! I remember when we converted my mate Stu's MR2 to turbo, and discovered near the end that we were missing a crucial bit of pipe that connected to the turbo. Two rubber couplings, four jubilee clips and half a can of WD40 and we were back on track, stayed like that for three years

Road noise is acceptable. If you can live with things like the 040s or 452s then you'll be fine with the 888s. Not as quiet as the MPSS by any means, but then it's a completely different type of tyre so shouldn't be expected to.

In theory I should've had my replacement console in 3-5 days after making the initial claim, which is more than fair enough, but I've only found this out now. Why the website still says the order is in progress, I've no idea. Maybe I've just been really unlucky.

And after speaking with Xbox support for the third time, it would appear that I've been lied to the first two times. My original request was cancelled almost immediately, so the two tw*ts I've spoken to previously have outright lied when they said it's in hand and that I'd been moved to the 'priority list'. I've now got to call Xbox UK and deal with them to get all this sh*t sorted out. I'm going to make a formal complaint over this, and apparently they do keep records of the text conversations so they can easily find out who said what. W*nkers. Seriously f*cked off with this now.

Rev Lite connected for me on my iPhone5, however you need the full version to do anything meaningful with it. That was via wifi, though.

Yeah, tried that, the controller just sits there doing nothing apart from flashing the light. Even plugging it straight in won't let the Xbone connect with the controller.

No New Xbone should be on it's way to me soon. Allegedly. I've had to speak to MS twice about this already.

Excellent write up, and a perfect example of why I don't bother with pre-washing at all. I used to use the foam, but all it did was add time when a quick rinse with a hose does pretty much exactly the same thing. I don't even bother with the jet wash any more, unless I'm doing the arches (any car) or the front rads (on the 911). For me, all it does is add time and a proper contact wash with a good shampoo and wash mitt gives a billionty percent better result. All IMHO, not knocking you at all Ilogikal as I find your take on detailing fascinating and I've picked up more than a good few hints off you over the years

I binned all my Megs pads ages ago, think I'm using Lakes Country ones now. For the minimal cost I'll grab a couple then, just in case. Cheers bud.

As a rule, I tend to include anything under 10secs to 100mph as a seriously quick car.

Remind me again what shampoo you have now? Although tbh as long it's not fairy liquid anything will be okay. You really don't need to do another wash after claying though, it really is overkill and just wastes time as you'll then have to dry the car as well before starting polishing. Actually, do yourself a favour and grab yourself a huge drying towel like this one, as it will make your life sooooo much easier.
