  1. Depends on tyre used. For 040s I'd go a little softer, for 050As I'd stay with stock, for T1R/452 I'd go a little harder, for 888s I'd go much softer. As a rule, try 35psi all round then adjust to suit your driving style.
  2. Did you watch on the BBC or Sky? Sky has much better audio broadcast quality, so the cars sound a billion times better.
  3. Boring race, apart from the last ten laps. Massively enjoyed watching Alonso zoom past Kimi
  4. 197 was criticised for gear ratios above all, very buzzy. Still a great car, but the 200 is much improved. Must admit, I'd have a 182 over a 197 as well.
  5. Probably cheaper to do 12mths and then alter.
  6. Hi! There's a few of us in Essex now
  7. Read the code, use the pedal dance in the FAQs. Could be anything.
  8. Anyone driven one? Are they any good?
  9. None.
  10. Disagree, stock V8 on that car sounds great, as did the straight-six before it at full chat. Stock Impreza sounds good, so does BRZ86, Exige V6, Focus RS etc.
  11. It's really not, not in the grand scheme of things. It's muted and a bit thrashy, even more so in the 370, which is why we all buy exhausts and intakes for it.
  12. Never heard the 12 on the 8-series, bet it sounds lovely.
  13. How do you know the work will be done properly? They might not do a better job than you can Give it a go, I reckon.
  14. Agreed. Think Arran is being a bit optimistic with adding the 350Z in as best sounding V6 though
  15. That is the most terrifying thing I've seen for a LONG time.
  16. I'm not having a go mate, you've held your hand up pretty quick and I respect you for that: Many wouldn't. Yes, we take our cars to track to push them, but it's quite clear neither you, the car or the track were ready for that, so you should've eased off. Instead, the red mist came down and you were lucky to walk away, as Jetpilot says that's a dangerous corner at the best of times. Was that your first track experience?
  17. Perhaps it was harsh, but what if he'd taken someone else out because neither him nor the car were prepared for the track? It's silly things like that that can cause serious accidents on track, and it only takes a second for something like that to happen. If you know you're on crap tyres, drive accordingly. If you've never driven there before, drive accordingly. If it's started hammering it down, drive accordingly. That's three basic mistakes he made, and I would suggest it was pure luck that neither he nor the car came off worse, as well as only involving himself.
  18. I don't get the love for the Audi V10, I really don't. It sounds great on the Lambo, and it's great on the R8 with a different exhaust, but that advert makes it sound incredibly anodyne.
  19. Should be little to no difference at all. Perhaps the best way would be to ask your insurer though, they would know better than anyone else on here
  20. Closest racing for years, no idea what everyone's complaining about.
  21. In that case sir, you are a complete idiot and got exactly what you deserved On the upside, you've not blamed anything other than yourself and you didn't take anyone else out with you. Surely you must've realised that it was going to be slippy as anything?!
  22. Bit late now lesson learnt lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk So come on then, what happened? How many laps, cars in front/behind, what corner, what did the car do etc?
  23. Well, I'd want more info before I could comment properly, but as a rule if you're not 100% sure of you or your car you shouldn't be on track. End of.
  24. Utterly ridiculous.
  25. Aston V12 in the 2009 LMP1 car. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar, or has never heard it in the flesh. V10 CGT. No contest. V8 I'll go with either the one in the 430 Scud above 4k rpm, or the Corvette C6.R. V6... Dunno. Probably an Alfa.
