Nothing concerning there at all, some people only keep sporty cars for a year before moving on. Just don’t pay top money for it if you’re planning on doing more than about 5k miles a year, as otherwise you might as well buy a leggier example.

Looks like Sunset from that photo, but if it’s non-standard then it could literally be anything. Can prob get a pen from any NMD, but it could stand out more than the scuff. Any pics of the damage?

So Horsham did both the 418 and the 354 dyno runs, correct? Are Horsham saying there is def something wrong with it? What boost are you running? What size pulley? What I’m getting at is this is lacking in details and Horsham know their stuff, so I’m surprised if they can’t fix it or give you a hint as to where to go next.

Cos it’s in the book. I can’t see any practical reason why it’s in there though!

Without replacing the entire unit, you can’t. Tbh I don’t ever bother with in car nav either any more, get a good mount and use your phone: certainly the bigger models (Max, Plus sizes) are more than capable of giving you the info you need clearly.

Sports Plus is amazing when you’re really in the mood, on the right road. The engineered-in extra jolt when the ‘box changes is subtle but brilliant.

Keep your foot buried past lockdown in normal mode and it’ll still shift at the redline. Also Sports Plus will still change gears automatically for you, only if you push the stick to the left and put it in manual mode will it not change up.

Get it to Center Gravity asap. Best money I ever spent on mine, absolutely transformed the car. Same when I took the 6er there, too. Wizards, I tell you!

That was utterly painful to read, even as a Porsche fan. Also he gets quite a few bits wrong as well (there is no raised rev limit in Sport Mode, for example).

Used the place run by a mate near where I used to work, but honestly that was cos it was handy rather than anything else. An MOT is an MOT, go wherever is easiest.

And yet battery life is easy to determine by plugging it in, if the on board computer doesn’t tell you anyway. Got a source for this, cos everywhere I look people are happily buying these with no concerns (or maybe they’re burying their concerns!)?

It’s a bit close, but the angle of the spray is much more important. I can run my Kranzle quite high in terms of pressure, but as long as you keep a roughly 45mpg angle there’s very little risk to the paint at all. Same goes if you’ve got a wrap on.

Or better still, strip them out and replace with standard mounts. As much as I fanboi over Porsche, dynamic engine mounts are not something I’ve ever seen any point in what so ever.

Easy answer: they cannot change coverage mid-term, as that’s not the contract they agreed to and the exact details should be in the policy handbook they gave you at inception. In terms of dragging the car off circuit and then ringing them it’s up to them: if they say you must’ve been there and you’re pulling a fast one, it’s the same as insurance claims at a track day crash so my guess it they’ll say no and get you to argue the toss long after the incident. Practically speaking I would imagine it’ll be 50/50 on the guy that actually turns up, worst case you can say you were spectating but not involved.

Yeah, not like I owned both or anything. Fine, a 9x7 costs a little more at a service cos it needs more oil than a Z33 every time. That cost is offset by being better on fuel, hence I stand by my comment.

Again, a 9x7 costs the same to run and maintain as a 350Z. Yes if the big bits go it’s more expensive, but that’s no more common between either marque. Get a manual ‘box (which you should), a couple of £25 rad protectors for the front grills (no brainer), a boroscope engine inspection (because you’d be mad not to) and you really don’t need a warranty.

JAE mid-2000s was the best! Used to love going there, and you could always guarantee the Impreza lot would always be standing in identical blue WRC jackets 😂😂😂

I sadly just googled the boot space of both cars, 235L on the 350 and 275L on the cayman plus the 150L in the frunk. Bigger than I thought tbh!
