Nah, I was being deliberately obtuse. It's one of my finer qualities I pay for the holidays, she contributes towards spending money. I look at anything she adds as a bonus, rather than relying on it.

Never ever ever ever EVER have a joint account. Ever. Biggest cause of arguments is money. I have my account, she has hers. I pay all the bills, she buys takeaways sometimes. Finally the GoPro is playing ball, so managed to get some videos off. This MX5 had been behind me for a bit, and I wasn't entirely sure if we were at the same pace or if he was quicker, so I let him past anyway. Not for long though... (caution for language at the end!) And this was one of the better laps I managed all weekend, quite clear and not too slippery. Apparently I like that hand gesture Shame I didn't catch the one perfect lap, and I mean it was as close to a qualifying lap as you could ever wish for: Every apex, no sliding, perfect shift. It reminded me exactly why I love track driving so much.

It was the attitude that got me the most. I mean, fair play I genuinely believed he tried his best, but the whole thing was utterly p*ss poor. If this had been a low-volume car manufacturer I'd have forgiven them, but Nissan? And they wonder why no-one gives a toss about anything other than the GT-R these days.

Someone's dropped a ball. £10 says they never ordered your car, or Nissan cancelled the order as the new one was due but either didn't tell the dealership or the dealership didn't tell you. Either way, no chance on you getting that car for that money now I reckon.

So today I discovered why no-one is buying a f*cking 370ZN. Apparently a car was ordered for me, but there was a mix up and it was just a boggo 370Z GT with an auto 'box. Completely useless to me. When they said they're not really sure where I go from here, I don't think they were expecting my reply of "Somewhere else?". Utterly pointless. He's going to try and see if Nissan have one somewhere to try, but isn't holding out much hope. Neither am I, and neither can I be arsed chasing them so I can spend nearly £40k with them. *goes back to looking at £40K 981 Boxster S cars*

Nah, I'd take it anywhere that'll do it. I've known specialists to be real sticklers, and I've known regular garages to turn a blind eye to the small things, so it's hit or miss.

It's hardly Bernie's fault if the teams can't make a go of things. After all, they're the ones who agree to Bernie's terms when they sign up: If they don't think it'll work financially, they can always go race elsewhere.
