  1. Very nice, good purchase matey Odd you mention the 645, as the 335 was my original plan until I ended up with the V8. Oddly I don't find the E63 to feel that big on the roads, I'll have to have a look in a minute as to how mine compares with yours size-wise. Beautiful looking car though, that's a great colour combo you've gone for. I'd stick with the 17"s though, cheaper rubber and better handling to boot. Edit: Mine's 8" longer, 3" wider, identical height, and 75kg heavier. Or that's what I tell the ladies, any way
  2. Our new kitten, Lexi. She's very sweet, just 9 weeks old now. Our other two cats aren't really sure what to make of her: Zelda tolerates her but is still scared of her, Geldof hisses and has given her a couple of gently whacks so far. Better than I thought we might get, though!

    Ring Trip

Not the first time that's happened, not by a long shot. Absolute morons.
  5. That was arranged days ago, sounds like a mutual thing anyway. Hopefully he'll go on to something else soon
  6. That would do me a treat, less house with more garage
  7. Not with both testicles, I bet.
  8. It's actually pretty light inside, the photo doesn't do it justice. But you're right, there's masses of work to be done on it. Subject to planning, I want to extend it to the left to double it, then install a pit.
  9. What do you want doing?
  10. Spare friction disc?! Love the idea of the Oh No chair
  11. I just came to post the same thing! 5-0 down at Stoke at half time? That's exactly why he wants to leave!
  12. I suspect that's far from what people expect The back half is still storage from the house move, and I've a pile of carpet tiles I need to put down under the MR2 as well. It'll be ace when I'm done though, it's a good length too with power, water and Ethernet throughout.
  13. Fuel economy is dire on the TwinAir, totally put us off buying one when we were looking a couple of years back. Just don't buy new, the depreciation is horrendous on these things. And the purple isn't purple, it's pretty much black!
  14. Thanks Graham, that's clarified things perfectly. I assume this has come up after a certain post the other day regarding alleged copyright infringement. Seems sensible, although I don't see how that post would've been affected under the new rule as it was on topic in the right place, but even so it's good to know that the freedom we've enjoyed here for years with regards to discussions on traders won't be altered.
  15. What would you like on your gravestone mate?
  16. Yeah, I get that, but what if the issue isn't resolved? Are the Team now stepping in on our behalf? Are you saying that we are forbidden from posting negative experiences by the traders? The rule seems to state that.
  17. Am I reading this correctly that we are no longer allowed to post negative comments about traders under fear of a ban? First we are supposed to contact the trader (which is perfect common sense), then we have to go to the Team, and then what? AIUI, the Team do not get involved in disputes due to various legal issues which is a fairly obvious reason in itself, so if we don't get a resolution...? The new rule seems very clear, that if we post outside of this new method then it's points for a ban. Perhaps some clarification on this, and to the thinking behind it would be very welcome.
  18. Gangzoom, that's absolutely spot on mate, perfectly said.
  19. As I've said before, when a car comes into the back you at night, good luck explaining to the insurance company why you have material covering up 30-50% of your lights. Common sense should dictate that reducing light output is never a good idea, no matter how good you may think it looks. That said, as long as you're happy with the risks then there's no doubt it's a very effective way of getting the result you're after

    Legal?

I see no reason why not.
