Not black on a white car, they'll get lost. White will look like something from the '80s, so not that either. Lime green or hot pink
  2. That's called rape, btw
  3. It's going to between 25 and 20 degrees outside tonight. Tempted to go grab the camp bed and sleep in the back garden.
  4. No difference at all, crack on fella
  5. If it's any help, I have zero interest in producing food goods at any stage of my life so I'd be happy to give you an honest opinion by PM if you like
  6. Before you do anything like that, check the deeds to your house: They're highly likely to contain a covenant barring the use of the property as business premises. Whether that covenant is enforceable is something you'd need to look into. For the rest of it, as far as market research goes just get out there and do it. If it means giving the game away then so be it, have confidence in your ability to do it better/cheaper than anyone else. It's unlikely you'll be the first person to do XYZ, but if you are then you either have to have a gamble with no research or let the cat out of the bag. Your call on that one. If it were me, I'd start by getting a good accountant to kick things off and do your books for you. They're not as expensive as you might think, and they'll normally save you a fortune in tax breaks in the first few years anyway whilst you're finding your feet.
  7. Brodit Proclip. Accept nothing less.
  8. Has anyone really been far as decided to use even go want to do look more like...
  9. I'm not sure what you mean...
  10. Never too hot! I'm glad the person in control of aircon distribution at our workplace is such a thoroughly decent and good-looking bloke, as I'm sat here with the best a/c unit we've got going full blast just for me!
  11. Neither would be of any consequence, unless you're planning on keeping the car for 100K miles more. The SMF will be more prone to warping and heat spots, but as long as you don't let your clutch die completely before changing then it won't be an issue.
  12. Pro of SMF is that more power is transmitted to the wheels, so basically it's like free horsepower. Your revs will also rise and fall more easily, so heel and toe is easier (IMHO) and the engine will feel more responsive. Con is that it can rattle a bit when sat in neutral, and you need to give a fraction more revs when pulling away. You get used to the latter in about 3 mins though. The rattle isn't anywhere near as bad as some make it out to be, even my missus made no comment over it on any car I've had it done to including the Zed.
  13. Poor car, sitting there wasting away

You're right, this one is much better looking
  15. Pffft, put the fence up. It'll take them longer to enforce you taking it down once you start to drag your heels through court, they'll either give up or make everyone take theirs down too, in which case everyone will hate crazy cat lady. Have you spoken to her, and pointed out that the council are going to make her take hers down too now?
  16. Another +1 for the Exedy clutch here, I ran it on mine on road & track and it was a very nice piece of kit. Good feel, nice bite, not heavy at all. I would also definitely pair it with a lightweight flywheel at the same time, for the performance benefit at pretty much zero extra labour cost it's an absolute no brainer.
  17. Again, another reason to hate EVs! As a keen driver, you cannot be happy with driverless cars on the horizon?
  18. The ICE is inefficient, noisy, old hat, thirsty, dirty, and smelly. And I love them and hope they never die. Electric motors may be able to deliver 100% power and torque instantly at zero rpm, but all that means is you either need to limit it electronically with fancy traction control systems, or you sit there spinning wheels and wasting energy. The latter is pointless, and the former just further removes the driver from involvement. For the record, I don't hugely like fancy traction systems and torque vectoring in ICE cars either (I'm looking at you, GT-R and 488!), but at least they have the benefit of making pleasing noises and smells. Much like how the Cayenne supported the 911 and Boxster, I'll be happy if EVs exist alongside ICE to allow them to carry on being awesome. The nightmare is if they replace them altogether. Might as well make them all driverless and trundle along at 50mph everywhere, at least they'll be serving their ultimate goal then. Because that's where the EV is heading, and if you love the technology that much you'll be sharing that goal.
  19. Painful in here, sometimes. Anyway, Tarmac. Contact details. First post by Grundy. Sorted.
  20. As does that post, tbh. Did you not read what Graham posted? Tarmac is banned from the forums, but obviously people with outstanding orders may need to contact him. Without this thread, that would be punishing the innocent as well, which is clearly daft. It's a sensible conclusion to an awkward situation.
  21. What I struggle with more than Stevo's dodgy maths or Gangzoom's adoration for Tesla is how any petrolhead can be discussing the forthcoming potential domination by EVs as a GOOD thing. It's not. It's a horrible thing. They're passionless, no emotion, no involvement, no tinkering, no glorious noises, no smug satisfaction after a kick to the alternator gets them going again, no simple joy of an open road + lightweight car + manual 'box + just enough power to be fun, no strapping whopping great turbos to them just because you can, no fussing over the benefits of induction kit over panel filter, no struggle to get just right exhaust note, and no jaws dropping as you hear an Italian V12 drop two cogs and nail it past you for other reason than it sounds f*cking awesome. Ladies and gents, as a future that's about as appealing as sloppy seconds hanging out the back of Katie Hopkins in mid-tirade.
  22. Go round and punch crazy cat lady in the face, then send a bunch of flowers saying how sorry you were to hear about her recent mugging. No-one will suspect you then. #dodgyjusticeftw
