  1. They won't like it full stop! How do you think it's going to look when you get pulled over after they've already spotted you running without a plate, only to discover it's magically back and you've got a remote button to hide it from the speed cameras? Best case they're going to make you remove it and report back, worst case they're going to hammer you for perverting the course of justice. Seriously, the best option if you don't like a front plate is just to not run one at all. At least then you can say it fell off and you didn't know about it, which is at least believable. It's also weight saving, so you'll go faster!
  2. You wouldn't tell them: If they don't find the car then they'll never know, and if they find the car then they give it back to you and it's not an issue.
  3. Good post, nice one bud Looking at the values though, just look at the tolerances between the settings: At the ends of those, you'd have a car that handled completely differently. For the performance model, you'd have though Nissan would've tightened those up.
  4. Light snow that doesn't settle, not really. Even if it's leaving a light dusting by the side of the road, it's really not much different to driving in rain. It's when it settles, or when it freezes and you get ice that you'll start to have real issues.

    Help...

And what pads are you going to buy to go with them?
  6. Ooh there is that as well, good point. Some are absolutely fine (mine was), but some have been known to be dreadful. That's a pretty big risk.
  7. So you don't think a V8V will be any quicker than a 350 on the roads, you think the new Mustang looks dull, and you'd rather have a DB9 over the V8V? Well, it's taken 2,598 posts, but finally I agree with every single word you say! Y'know, if they're in budget then a manual DB9 could be a good left-field choice.
  8. I'm from Essex so I can relate too, but £35K?! Sheesh.
  9. Trouble is, you then have an engine of completely unknown quantity. This one is from a crashed car, could've been run on any old fuel, revved to high heaven from cold, run low on oil etc. A rebuilt 135K engine could actually be far superior to one with 53K on it, easily.
  10. I think you need to join up and respond to this Dan: 'Stop using other forums, this one is the Holy Grail of all things GT-R and we all know they are unbeatable by any other car. Right now Bugatti are wondering whether to release the new Chiron at 1500bhp or up it to 1700 so it doesn't get trounced by a GT-R. Whoever these people are who insist a lowly Pork product can leave the mighty Nissan in its wake need their mouths washing out with soap. Bring them to me now! Only thing I would reply to that with is a thumbs up, for impeccable use or sarcasm on the internet. It's a hobby of mine, so I appreciate it when I see it
  11. Says the man that owned chose a convertible 350 Hah, this is very true, I do always buy the ugly cars! MR2, VXR, 350Z ragtop, 645... Yeah, I think you have me on this one! Although maybe that just proves I know what I'm talking about with ugly cars...
  12. Some pretty respectable responses on gtr.co.uk which is good to see. Very much like here, it seems like they just like their cars and don't always think that theirs is the best regardless.
  13. See? That is a mess of a design. It's like giving a 7 year old a red crayon and asking them to draw a fast car. It's hideous.
  14. Perhaps your old windscreen was so dirty, the reflection couldn't get through the dirt Either that, or because it's not OEM glass they've put in it could naturally reflect more light.
  15. Of course! It just happens to be correct, that's all.
  16. The old one, yes. The new one is a pile of scum scraped from a tramp's gonad.
  17. I'd already have submitted the forms to MCOL by now. I'd have done it there and then in front of him, tbh!
  18. Pretty much. I was very excited by this, and tbh I'm their target market as I've already got the PC to utilise it and I love gadgets and gaming. If you can't convince me, then you've got big problems. Sony's issue will be that they need the equivalent of another PS4 as a processor for it, so that's going to be a fair whack right there. I wouldn't expect the quality of the screens to be as good as OR, but that's not as important on a home console.
  19. So you're going to sue for the remaining £1000, yes? RAC checks aren't that great tbh, they're very generic. You'd be far better off having it checked over by a specialist.
  20. Did anyone else fall over at the £529 cost of the Oculus Rift announced yesterday? Looks like VR is dead before its begun at that price. We can but hope that Sony don't price theirs as high now.
  21. Because who wants to drive a 14 year old car on a modern driving game? Plus, it's sh*t. The game, not the car.
