  1. Erm, no. Front too stiff is understeer city, it's a sports car not a bloody hot hatch.
  2. Hang on, Gibbo?! I know him from 911uk, met him at a dyno event one time! Cracking guy, he had the 997.1 with the powerkit that wasn't the full powerkit, best sounding gen1 car I ever heard. Very surprised he only rated his own car at 7/10 and the Mustang at 8/10 for sound, that seems way off to me. Lovely guy though, tell him I said hi.
  3. Told you I like ugly cars!
  4. Make it RHD and give it a decent engine, and I'd consider it.
  5. So, from an owner, but with no prejudice? Glad he's happy with it, sounds like a man with good taste
  6. I'd still put some decent flooring down. Either carpet tiles for comfort when laying down working, or tiles (or similar) for wipe clean awesomeness.
  7. Platinum, in a satin finish.
  8. Just plug it off, it's nothing important either way.
  9. See, you need an old man's car, like mine!
  10. Did you read the instructions, the light flashes and you count the flashes which gives you the code...
  11. As long as the engine is off, disconnecting the MAF with or without battery won't cause a CEL. Hell, I've disconnected and reconnected them in the past with the engine running, normally the CEL just goes away once you plug the MAF back in and reset the code.
  12. Asda are dirt cheap right now, too.
  13. Shouldn't make the blindest bit of difference. Certainly I never disconnect batteries when faffing around with intakes.
  14. Just do the pedal dance, that's free
  15. Understeer city! PS3s are shopping trolley tyres despite the PS designation, they're going to hugely inhibit the front end performance of your car. As to the original question, I'd happily put on the F1s, 050As or AD08Rs if I couldn't get MPSS.
  16. If I employed someone and they'd blagged their previous salary, I'd just have to laugh it off. I mean, it's exactly what I'd do, so I couldn't blame anyone else for doing it too!
  17. Ford Focus mk1. Most comfortable seats for automotive sneakytimes I've ever used.
  18. I just found out my car has heated windscreen washer nozzles! Now that's some fancy-arse shizzle, right there. It's the small things in life that make me happy, it really is.
  19. Given the markets are on a downward dive right now with plenty of uncertainty, it might be a while before you see any returns unless you're lucky/brilliant. Not a huge issue, just something to be aware of.
