  2. *tumbleweed* Actually since you've got them both off, what's the weight difference between the two with tyres on? I know the Nismos are quite light and the stock wheels quite heavy, so I wonder if you're no worse off actually running the bigger wheels anyway.
  3. If it was me, and it was when I owned mine, I'd change the master cylinder at the same time. No more effort, and since the real ballache is the bleeding of the system afterwards it makes sense to do both as you really don't want to come back and have to do that again...
  4. Sorry, they said no Tight fisted old f*ckers.
  5. I'll ask them
  6. My mummy and daddy insured my first car for me, I've no idea how much it was
  7. Agreed, I'd rather the screen was up higher too. Maybe put the vents between screen and HVAC controls?
  8. I'm not convinced routing the air vents that low down is a good idea. Do they have enough tilt to aim at your hands and face from that angle?
  9. And that, ladies and gents, is why the manual is the best option bar none.
  10. Well, it's what all the cool kids do
  11. They do, it's called your right foot My Bummer also has the reduced rev limit thing. No idea if it's an actual limiter mind, because there's no way I'm going to thrash a cold engine just to find out.
  12. He can try, I reckon it was the only vehicle on the road that could run into the Bummer and be the heavier one of the two
  13. It's retarded.
  14. *rant* This rev matching thing is doing my nut in now. I don't have an issue with it existing, and on the 370 you can at least turn it off, but now other manufacturers are in on it. Porsche, for example, have this in their sports cars now but it only comes in when you turn on Sport mode. Fine, no problems there. However, if you want Sport mode (so sharper throttle, looser TCS limits) you have to have the revmatch on, even if you don't want it! Only way to turn it off in Sport? Turn ALL the TCS systems off completely. Utterly ridiculous. */rant*
  15. Still no pics I can upload, but I promise it's not an April Fool. Wish it was, mind.
  16. So today I bought some parts for the car, which is one step closer to getting it back on the road. However, I bought parts for the wrong end: New bootlid specifically so I can run a BGW and not wreck the original! Never let it be said that I do things the right way round. Car is still sat on the driveway, insurance going nowhere fast, tbh I might just get it repaired and take the other guy to court myself.

  19. I don't think it's wrong to have an opinion, put it that way.
  20. Both now gone, thanks guys
  21. There isn't, no. Tbh it would take some proper computer and sensory wizardry to make it work anyway, so would be more than the cost of the car to do. Besides, it's much more fun and satisfying to do it yourself.
  22. Yes, you use your right foot and blip the throttle yourself
  23. 5 min job, once you're underneath the car.
  24. Very sore throat. Ahem.
  25. Lift the plate up a bit so it goes through the middle? Or easy to cut a couple of small bits of ally to use to lower the plate to the correct position.
