  1. The Havoc kit won't make your car look like a Transformer, unless there's one called Optimus Fuglycar or maybe Starscreamingcoshelooksamess. I jest, each to their own. If you love it, then go for it! It's your money, as long as you're happy then who cares what other people think?
  2. Fit yes, but it needs electrical changes to the ECU & stuff that make it not financially viable.
  3. It's no secret the wheels on the BMW aren't exactly hellastance fit: "More tuck than Caitlyn Jenner" has been used to describe them. So I want new ones, however before I push the button can I just run a sanity check past you all please? Long post ahead... Current wheels: 18x8.5J ET45 all round, 245/45/18 tyres 25mm spacer on the front (so essentially ET20) 30mm spacer on the rear (so essentially ET15, extra 5mm needed to clear new suspension) Wanted wheels: 18x8.5J ET25 front 245/45/18 18x9.5 ET22 rear 275/40/18 Now, on the current setup if I take a straight edge from the tyre lip (two points of contact, top and bottom) to the arch lip I get the following: 10mm gap at the front 15mm gap at the rear In theory then, I can come out an extra 10mm at the front and 15mm at the rear, yeah? So I could run the following: 18x8.5J ET25 front with a 15mm spacer (so ET10) 18x9.5 ET22 rear with a 20mm spacer (so ET2) HOWEVER I'm now wider by an inch on the rear, so according to here they would stick out 25mm more than before. Basically, 10mm more than I have space for. For those that have experience, is this something you can overcome by raising the car (temp solution), arch rolling, or even by running more camber? I run very little at the rear, the tyres are pretty much stood upright. If this isn't doable, then I'll just run 8.5J all round and accept I can't really run wider at the rear. What I don't get is that OEM (option) fit on mine is 18x9J ET18, so my puzzle factor is huge here. Shame the BC suspension sit 5mm wider at the rear, but hey ho. As always, thoughts and opinions muchly welcomed.
  4. The rest of us were busy having a life and sex whilst Grundy was playing WoW and Dota2 though
  5. I've lost many days of my life to the ME series. I've played all three through twice, once normally and then once with a guide to make sure I didn't miss anything, and I reckon I put at least 60-80 hours into each one (including DLC). If you do the maths on that, it works out as about 20 days non-stop. And I'd happily do it again
  6. If it's real, then fair play. If it's fake, then that's the tackiest most useless piece of crap I've seen stuck to a car in twenty years.
  7. What the hell is that on the back?
  8. Qualifying is fine it doesn't need faffing around with. Fastest cars get to the front, that's the way it should be. I'm not a fan of mucking around with rules just for the sake of 'close racing', there's other series that do that if you just want a different winner every time. F1 should be about the fastest being the fastest, and if you're the best you should get the advantage. If it makes for a boring race then so be it, if the series dies because of it so be it, but don't change what the series is actually about.
  9. Bloody sure mine did, I'm doubting myself now
  10. Revup retracted in, 100%.
  11. What I mean is, to even cover overheads plus materials is going to get close to that, never mind paying for labour and making a profit on top especially in the South. Realistically you need to be at least doubling that budget for a decent job.
  12. You'll be lucky for that budget, tbh.
  13. I want a couple more kittens at some point, preferably brother and sister. Lexi needs some company as Zelly is just a bit too old to play that roughly with her.
  14. Nico had the right to close the door, but he did it far too quickly and aggressively. He clearly didn't see Lewis until too late, so made a desperate swing across the track to block him. If he'd done it a bit slower Lewis would've had to back off, and would've had the time to do so.
  15. Don't forget, your target is the train co, not DPD
  16. You don't. As DPD said, their contract is with the train company, they do not owe you a duty of care. You cannot claim against them. Really, one of two things went wrong here: 1. The train company didn't inform DPD that the contents were high-value, and needed extra insurance. 2. You didn't make it clear enough to the train company of the value of the item, and didn't check the postage covered the item for the value rather than the weight. What can you do? Practically, not a lot. You can have a go at the train company for not telling you that you needed extra cover and had to pay more, or that they should've realised and informed you, but ultimately unless you can prove you told them how valuable it was then you're out of luck. There's also no proof it was working before you got it, and as it's your own item they've sent you there's no recourse there. I'd write a strongly worded letter asking them how they intend to rectify the situation, but ultimately they don't have to do anything I'm afraid.
  17. Make no mistake, if that had been a Merc and a Ferrari or a Merc and a Red Bull, then the stewards would've handed out penalties for sure. As it was just Merc that suffered, they basically let them deal with it internally.
  18. No, now he gets to be paranoid over excess oil usage instead Don't feel too bad fella, as long as you didn't pay HR money for it then you've still got a cracking car there and in a stunning colour too.
  19. By which point you'd better make sure that they're the guys you want doing the engine replacement, as otherwise you've got a car with no engine you need to get transported so +++ costs.
  20. That is amazing, great stuff Pete
  21. If he's not prepared to take a wheel off to change a battery, then I suspect he's hiding more than a dodgy alternator. I'd have walked too.
