  1. Good, no-one in the public likes him after the Education Secretary fiasco, he's best kept away from the limelight.
  2. Have you not owned a car before mate?! Seriously, it'll be fine. Park it outside, inside, next to a wall, under a bridge, near some pikeys, it'll make no difference. Okay, so don't park next to the pikeys. I'd be more concerned about damage from other users than anything else, so sticking it next to a wall (any wall) is better than having two cars park either side, possibly opening their doors into yours. You don't need a cover, unless you intend to properly wash it after you've parked up. All you'll do it capture the dirt and dust on the car and the cover will scratch it into the paintwork.
  3. Did you see Larry having a pop at the black cat the other day?! Also, worth following @DiploMog on Twitter for the account of the official Foreign Office cat, Palmerston. The US use @DiploMutt for their version, which is funnily enough a dog.
  4. Oooh now there's a good question! I know what you mean about detailing a really green-covered car, but I think if I was buying I'd want a poorly washed one that was clean, so I could at least see if anything was hiding under the foliage
  5. Probably!
  6. It was a very good speech she did yesterday, I have to admit. I know, speeches mean nothing, but she's basically p*ssed all over Corbyn and his equality stuff. I also loved her dig at Sturgeon and how proud she was of the Union which she's going to keep together No second referendum for the Scots methinks. Not convinced about Rudd as Home Secretary, but BoJo as Foreign Secretary is a great (albeit brave) move. An incredibly clever man who will always put the UK first, and isn't afraid to stand up to the US either. Interesting times ahead, but for the most part it looks right now that things may (ahahahaha) be getting on the right track again.
  7. £3K just for the kit? Really??
  8. Well, it'll get the women folk watching I guess.
  9. Yup, exactly that
  10. Assuming the money is in a bank, it's probably okay. It may not have increased in value at all, but it should be safe.
  11. Daft question perhaps, but assuming you and your brother are adults why did your Mum not just leave the money directly to you?
  12. And I like F&F
  13. KILL IT WITH FIRE
  14. and setting on fire
  15. Probably not the best way to advertise a car for sale...!
  16. You need to see the legal agreement tbh. It sounds like it could be either UK or Turkish, so if it's Turkish then you'd need to check the law their side. It might be your money, but if your aunt has legal management rights then it's going to get very messy. Without looking at anything (happy to do so if you want to forward me a copy via PM), I'd say there's nothing you can do right now on the balance of probabilities. Especially since the agreement with the bank doesn't end until next year. £50K is absolute peanuts to be holding in a Turkish bank, you could do much better with that money and in much safer places. However, without more detail there's very little anyone can do to help you I'm afraid. Either the will or the management contract would be needed to progress this any further.
  17. I think the key word here was 'high end'... ;)
  18. One year with a 5 year extension, that should do it. If they're good and confident, they'll take it. If not, they can get stuffed. Hodgson was never the right choice, it should've been Redknapp at the time and we all knew it, but the FA wouldn't stomach his image. Big mistake. I have no problem with England being losers, but I do take issue with them not appearing to ever really get out of second gear when playing a game. That's what needs to change more than anything. Sod all this 'Oh we must play like XYZ at international level', NO! Play like they do every week: At least they're used to that, and it's pretty entertaining. Maybe they'll succeed, maybe they'll just suck, but it's got to be better to watch than the dross we've had for the last few years.
  19. That's what I'm saying, the FA should only offer a one year contract full stop. The England job is one of the most coveted in world football, people should WANT to do it and accept that for the glamour you get less job security. Or let him do it part time with the Sunderland job, makes no odds to me as it's not like the England job actually takes all year to do anyway. There are some great foreigners, but unfortunately the FA missed them all this year (Conte, Mourinho, Guardiola). I'd love to see Jose in the job, but that's two years away at least.
  20. If he wants the job, then he should take it on that basis. If he doesn't, find a new candidate.
  21. Not the worst idea. I mean, he's hardly what you'd call a cutting edge manager in terms of tactics and training, but then is that what we actually need? Or do we just need someone who won't constantly pick players based on name, and will give hugely motivational team talks/rollickings as needed? I'd like to see him get the job for a year, until Wenger becomes free. If Sam is doing a genuinely good job then hire AW as someone in overall control of the England setup, then if Sam screws up AW can take over. I think it would be a mistake to write off either of them.

  23. I'd just replace it if it were me. £75 is nothing really, the 350Z is easy to replace the screen on, I'd just go with it. It won't have any kind of affect on the value at all, if anything I'd prefer a car with a new screen than one with a chip in it
  24. You need to post up some pics of her status and the replies, I could do with some quality entertainment this afternoon
  25. Good
