  1. But who lets them? The NHS has massive purchasing power, it just chooses to roll over and get raped in the wallet.
  2. Anyone else I wouldn't believe, but you've got a trustworthy face.
  3. In that case, thank you for reducing my tax bill by paying more than necessary! I pay my dues too, I just don't pay more than I have to.
  4. Which is why politics doesn't work in this country, every time they make a hard but right call they get slaughtered on it.
  5. Absolutely agree 100%. This is why I think we should pay our MPs significantly more than we do, get the big business owners with a proven track record interested in helping run the country. Stop this faffing around, it's the most important job in the country so we should pay a proper wage.
  6. Because I don't want to pay any more tax than I absolutely have to. If they can't make laws that cover every base, that's their problem not mine. If I said to you pay me £500 and I'll legally save you £5000, you're telling me you wouldn't take it? No dodgy off-shore schemes or anything like that.
  7. You need EA Access my friend. Got me a fiver off ME:A, and SWBF is free on there now too. It's very good VFM if you like their games, FIFA17 coming this month too.
  8. Well that's hideously disappointing. I'm going to report you to the admin for blatant lying! ...Oh.
  9. *cough* Mass Effect *cough*
  10. Anyone else get it? Don't mind if it is just me being a bit thick, but I genuinely cannot see the connection here.
  11. Which is impressive you know that, since the only thing he did was like the picture you posted
  12. Go on then, explain it because I don't see it. OP asked for suggestions for a fun track car under £2.5K. You give him a 60's muscle car worth about £60K. Where's the two and two then?
  13. I was quite disappointed with this Hitman, as you have to rush through it to get some of the kills due to how the NPCs move around. I like planning my kills and taking my time, so didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to.
  14. *translation: I didn't like how the poll was going so I cheated you all and am doing what I want anyway, ner ner!
  15. I would imagine the PM tells the CE what she wants to prioritise, then instructs him to find a way to do it. He runs off and tells all his plebs to do the proper maths, they come back to him with a couple of ideas then he passes that up the line to the PM, who makes the final decision. Politics is too political to leave it purely down to people who actually know what they're doing. They'd rather look good to the public than do what's right, hence the reason the NHS hasn't been torn apart and made into something that actually works.
  16. I didn't say I was straight everywhere Although that was mainly to do with the ice on the track, and the fact it never got warmer than -2c all day!
  17. Combe should be ideal for low power cars, you can just keep your foot in with no fear of actually doing any harm. I remember doing a day there in an R300 and by the end I was 100% throttle and reaching the limit of the gearing, that was an ace day
  18. I don't believe for one second that the PM doesn't okay every single move the chancellor makes, not these days.
  19. The trouble is that no-one makes a distinction between small business and large business: What you apply to one, you apply to the other. I've no real grudge against the megacorps paying less tax as they contribute much more in other ways by giving people jobs to earn money and pay PAYE & all the stuff they then buy. All the other changes I'm relatively comfortable with tbh, some of it makes sense like the dividend stuff (even though that affects me directly) in terms of fairness. Business rates don't affect me, however I'm very much against the changes the Tories made, but do I see Labour changing them back? Nope. What worries me is that Labour are going to aim their guns not just at business, but at people earning over £26K. No-one would call £26K a fortune, hell in parts of the country you'd struggle to live off that full stop. If Labour and that do go after Starbucks et al, that really is going to be painful for people like me.
  20. That's the scary thing, Labour will borrow as much as they need to to be able to sort the problems they believe exist, with no real plan for dealing with that debt. All the austerity we've been through will be for nothing (and there's a sound argument that says it wasn't that successful, I acknowledge that), and then in times of uncertainty when we don't know what kind of Brexit deal we'll end up with I just can't see it being a good idea to start living well beyond our means again. Even more so than we already are. I don't disagree with all of the Labour policies tbh, and if we had a perfect world then they may even get my vote as they have done before. However, as a small business owner that is subject to the same tax rules as Starbucks, I cannot support a party that specifically wants to target me to take even more out of my pocket.
  21. Why? You'd think that someone who knows how to make money rather than spunk it up the wall would be ideal to be in charge of trillions of pounds. When you consider that Corbyn himself said the other day that he was aiming to help those earning £26K and under, that puts an awful lot of normal people in the category that he wants to hammer...
  22. Well done for picking the least suitable track car ever, and a car that is well out of the OP's budget. Might as well have suggested a P1 GTR, be just as useful. It's only on the power tracks you'd want for more power on the mk3, stuff like Spa and Silverstone. All other tracks are absolutely fine with the 140bhp, bearing in mind it weighs less than a ton.
  23. I just don't understand how solicitors are so sh*t. If they were bakers for 7 hours of the day and only did legal stuff for an hour a day, I could understand it, but this is their profession and what they do day after day.
  24. A 980 is broadly similar to a 1060, and having gone from that to a 1080 I think there's a world of difference when rendering at the higher gfx levels, even at 1080p. Plus the ability to run at 60fps at those higher levels, which is arguably more important. It's just nice being able to boot a game up and set everything to Ultra as default
  25. Shame about the golds Steel on blue then, if you must have a colour. I still reckon plain steel would look cleaner, mind.
