  1. Yes. It's just like ordering anything else in the world ever.
  2. Shocking stuff. I certainly won't beheading there in a hurry.
  3. Oh good lord. The walking hormones are out...
  4. The trouble is that with this kind of questioning you end up with misleading figures. For instance, I don't think that age is as relevant to the question of exhaust choice as money is, and you'll more than likely find that the younger folks with less disposable income will go for the cheaper exhausts i.e. Scorpion or K1, but the older folks with more money will go for the Nismo or Milltek. It still works though if you remove the age from the equation altogether and just look at the money side of things. However, asking people to state how much money they earn and what exhaust they've got is parallel is likely to go down as well as a £5 hooker

    Oil Top Up

Just stick with the same grade and type as was put in during the service, i.e. if they filled it up with 5w-30 fully synth then I'd be happy topping with any other brand of 5w-30 fully synth you want to use. If you don't know the exact oil put in, then my example of a 5w-30 fully synth will do fine. Don't use Magnatec though as it's horrible thin watery crap.
  6. Not if you live on somewhere where you have boy racers outside your door till the early hour playing loud music, handbrake turns and causing a nuisance. Sec 59 is designed to combat ASB whilst using motor vehicles. Anyway the new legislation would never remove the option of the individual to exercise their right to a day in court. As for issuing on the spot fine this has been going on for years, seat belt, mobile phone, parking, etc which now include theft, damage and many more minor offences which would otherwise take up valuable court time. Don’t let this thread become a place to voice your poor experiences with the police who only enforce the law not write them Sorry, but that's a load of rubbish. S.59 should be used for the purposes you mention, but it routinely isn't (check SP&L over on PH for a billionty and one examples) and it's also a law which you can't challenge in court, only direct to the police themselves which then gets buried. If the boy racers are doing handbrake turns in the road and causing a nuisance then they should get charged for Dangerous Driving which carries proper penalties. The whole s.59 law was brought in by a government that delighted in knee-jerk reactions to a perceived problem by Joe Public, and without much thought to the consequences. It's a horrible piece of legislation. The problem people have with this law is that it's unnecessary: We've already got a shedload of laws that cover the crimes mentioned by this which go through due process, and all this is doing is giving the police greater powers than they should have. Undertaking is the one I have serious issues with, as the police should be pulling over the person hogging the middle lane (as it invariably is) and giving them the bollocking, not the undertaker assuming it's done in a safe and controlled manner. Been there numerous times thanks, my folks own a place in Davenport which I get regular use of. They do weave in and out a lot, and considering how much they do it it's surprising the very few accidents it causes. Which junctions on the I4 are you referring to? It gets a bit chaotic as you enter the city on rush hour (especially the junctions around the basketball stadium when there's a game on) but no worse than you see on the M25 every day. I refuse to judge all Americans as idiots that can't drive, we've got enough of them over here without tarring an entire nation with that brush. Make people think about their actions/inactions, and target the mindless many rather than the deliberate few. Give 1pt on a licence and a £30 every time someone fails to indicate on a roundabout, on a motorway, turning into a side road; Give that same punishment to those who won't move over after overtaking; Make people realise that not everyone around them is psychic and they need to use their mirrors and indicators.
  7. Sod anyone else's feelings, if they don't have insurance they don't get to drive it. Also, if they drive it and you don't ask for their insurance and they turn out not to be insured, that's 6 pts for you on your licence right there so another reason to ask and check.
  8. Cutting compound + elbow grease should shift it. Try Meguiars Ultimate Compound.
  9. Bad driving is the cause of most accidents though, however it's not the people that are weaving in out and out traffic that are the biggest problem IMHO, it's (as Beavis says) the numpties who don't use their mirrors or indicate that are the real issue. If people were in the correct lanes then you simply wouldn't be able to undertake or weave, but that's far too difficult to police apparently. And no, I don't weave myself no condone it, but done safely with full use your mirrors and awareness of the vehicles around you it's not inherently dangerous.
  10. It's just an extension of s.59, which in itself is the biggest crock of sh*t to come to motoring law in the last 50 years. Police should not be judge, jury and executioner, that's what we have the courts for!
  11. Result Just realised that it wasn't with an AMMD though, which explains the prices.
  12. And did you pay £552.77 in the end?
  13. Even an auto? I suspect it's just a precaution against leaving the car in gear without realising, nothing more sinister than that.
  14. The Alpine stuff definitely will, and it's a piece of cake to hook up the steering wheel controls too (if you have them).
  15. It's why I chose a 911 over a GTR, as well as 2WD over 4WD
  16. Good lord, me and Dblock agree on something!!!11 Spot-on fella. There's quicker cars out there than the Zed at that price level (Impreza would be the obvious choice ignoring anything German), but we all chose the Zed because it's a better driver's car and gives so much more feedback and pleasure from the drive than ultimate pace.
  17. I honestly don't know, although I'd be amazed if it did and I'm sure I've seen numerous posts on here referring to it not working post-conversion.
  18. I've tried other programs, but Photoshop really is worth every penny. CS5 is a massive jump over CS4 and I wouldn't be without it
  19. £100 is peanuts relatively speaking, and it's certainly cheaper than buying a new head unit when you get naffed off with the first one you buy because it doesn't sound as good or feels clunky in operation
  20. First one for me. Alpine's iPod integration and having their own DSP in the units is so far ahead of the competition right now, I wouldn't touch anything else. Pioneer looks prettier, but having a big volume knob is still the most user-friendly way of operating things.
  21. Do you not need rear suspension then Waseem?
  22. Given how many they're selling, why would they change? Never hurt the TT either.
  23. You're thinking of the 997 Turbo S. This is a Cayman S.
  24. Does that price include all parts they need for the 5th year service though? I ask as Porsche are a bit sneaky with their pricing, as a 2nd service (4th year) in only £500 but doesn't include the spark plugs which must also be changed to keep the warranty going, which is another £300 on top, along with the brake fluid change which is also necessary and not included... The list goes on, and that's why premium cars are not always the bargain they first look when you look at servicing costs. Doesn't bother me as I've budgeted for it, but I bet it catches a lot of people unaware.
