  1. Shame you had to sell the Zed mate but dont think you need to leave this forums's shores! Will miss your witty posts! Good luck with the Toe rag ! Ming the Toe!
  2. Worse is having to say sorry in the radio then go to her house FFS there are bods getting murdered in Indonisia but no Sky want to cover this stupid cr@p! Bet he has a post it note in his car reminding him not to speak before his mic is off!!
  3. Jay I agree its just extortion no matter how much the car costs and they cant keep saying its to help the environment by making us rethink our policy on buying sports or gas guzzling fun cars!! What concerns me re: this kind of mentality what tax is next ? Enjoy your car btw
  4. Surely if people can afford such cars then £500 is mere pocket money! I do agree though they are robbing baskets! Strange how we still have pot-holed roads everywhere but the tax is going up - is the money not being used to produce Europes most perfect roads!!
  5. I am sure by now you have seen the amazing and important world news story of Gordon Brown leaving his mic on whilst talking to some bid in Rochdale - well as much as I dont like the guy you would just want to tell half of them to f*** off would'nt you!! http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Politics/Gordon-Brown-Apologises-For-Calling-A-Woman-Gillian-Duffy-Bigoted-In-Rochdale/Article/201004415621596?lpos=Politics_Carousel_Region_0&lid=ARTICLE_15621596_Gordon_Brown_Apologises_For_Calling_A_Woman_Gillian_Duffy_Bigoted_In_Rochdale Wonder which conservative MP paid her...
  6. Burano. Never heard of that place? I found Murano to be pleasantly quiet and I went during season? Must have been lucky? Agree as mentioned earlier you only need a walk short distance away from the centre to find really nice places to eat and relax for a fraction of the price.
  7. Maybe I have been harsh? It is nice to go but it's so small you can walk it in about 2 days easy. You don get the odd smell all year round and it's worth a visit so at least you have been.
  8. Brand new 10 plate blue 370 gangster this morning. Silver 350 ragtop going towards stockport on opposite m60 direction. Black 350 coupe about 30 mins later m56 towards Manc. Black ragtop 56 tebay services heading to Carlisle on Friday (not Mart) Black coupe 07 whitefield -let me out of the fancy Chippie Black coupe 07 M56 east bound
  9. Stayed a week a few years ago - about 3 days too long! It's like Disney land by the sea! I love my architecture but after 2 days you have seen everything. Avoid the centre of Venice it costs a bleedin fortune for everything and is packed with tourists. If you get a chance get a water taxi to Murano worth a visit, picturesque and free from the masses. Go to St Marks square in the evening the gold glistens so nicely off the setting sun an go up the tower there , can't remembe the name now but it's worthit for the views. Take a gondola ride but haggle the price it's worth the sites you see fro the water level - take your camera btw. If you want to eat cheaply just go to the outer districts not far from the centre and everything is peanuts there. Local ice cream is fab btw.
  10. Saw a new Black one the other day whilst picking up our Orange Camper and I had to look twice I almost did'nt notice it - its a good car just a shame they messed with it a bit - do honestly prefer the look of the original but with the engine of the newer one
  11. Noo noo nooo get off there quick! I hate it my mate asked me to join so he could send me pictures of his new cat( he only lives up the road!!) so stupid me I logged on and quickly figured out how to lock everything down , if your crossing the Sahara in a dinghy and want to keep family and friends updated etc - fine , if your sat on the loo and want to tell the world what you had for supper earlier ---- Nooooooo who cares ps sorry for random spaces bleeding wonderphone messing me about again.
  12. I do feel sorry for peeps that are stuck abroad and don't have any way of getting home anytime soon or if your money is running out but feel so angry how the news once again is blowing everything out of proportion! How come they have reporters flewn in to all these places when there is supposed to be a flight ban? Does is only effect jets ? Now they are talking about closing schools as some teachers are abroad? FFS !! I have a name for those schools head teachers - work shy fopps!! Surely you can get supply teachers in at short notice ? Doh!
  13. Sorry to hear your getting this hassle and hope it's sorted for you soon. From my experience of the 350z ragtop it is a very well made machine but as the roof is handmade and handfitted issues can occur? +1 what Mart has said if it comes to repairs don't go to Nissan unless they fix it under warranty. As a former trimmer you are better off going to an automotive trimmers get them to inspect it and provide a letter to Nissan on your behalf and take it to them to fix. Your average Nissan mechanic or any dealer in fact will had sod all experience of such issues
  14. Daft isn't it you couldn't give minis away years ago!! Check out autotrader still cheaper ones there than the classic or club websites Thanks for the info Arkwright but I already have a beetle not even I would buy yet another one no space time and neighbours would kill me

  18. they dont know yet - we have yet to pick it up -that will be a fun day! We are getting a cover for it - dont want to effect global warming with it do we!
  19. I know mate was'nt my choice unfortunately with the interior we have in mind it will have to stay for now. Plus the brackets have got holes in the shiny front panel - will look pants filled and sanded with blobs of orange
  20. Me and Lucy have just purchased this hot Satsuma! 1973 Danbury conversion - runs well and looks as good in the flesh as the pictures. Interior is clean but will be gutted and a home made bespoke one made up and fitted. We cant wait just need to get a new poptop canvas, roll and roll bed, seatbelts in the back and we are offski at the weekends - ironing board with carboard fin on the roof and off to Abersoch for some surfin' maaaaaan Fortunately its already been restored and resprayed - thats saved me 6 months of work , need to fettle it to my standards and use it as much as we can. Look out for us - easy to spot! Hope to pick up next week so back in the slow lane again!
  21. Eek just seen this - nice one Mart a 1500 - best one they made - but you need the 1967 one - looks like the early 50's/60's but with 12V electrics and that juicy 1500 fire breather! Not for me mate already have mine - but thought your son was still after one>? Look at the floor forget the paintwork! No its not original paint btw got a new toy btw -
