Whilst on the subject of Carcrap - never ever ever ever buy from those scumbags! I used to work round the corner from one of their places and also went round their main location in Rochdale when they started - all cars withouf fail had bangs, dints and scratches on them its like they were all damaged stock! Then there is the high pressure herding sheep selling tactics and ludicrous APR payments! Absolute scum - avoid (phew got that off my chest!)

There was a similar issue with someone else las year recommend you remove seat from the floor think there was something jamming in the gears - it was clear once you had the seat out though. Sorry not much use but it only took him 10 mins to remove the seat. Might be worth a shot?

Hi folks Just putting the feelers out - I am going to be selling the tank shortly and have decided on getting an MR2 roadster again. I have been checking out Autotrader and the MR2OC sales section. I would rather buy a car with known past history etc so if anyone does know of someone who is selling or are thinking of selling a Toyota MR2 roadster in Black, bog standard please no mods, manual with stock alloys, ideally early shape (2000-2003) original Sony Radio, leather seats (red if possible but not important) must have FSH. Cant remember which engine my mate had on his early Disco - but Rover used plastic locating pegs for the head gasket on his and of course as the temperature goes a bit too hot too often these melt and the gaskets tend to slip a bit and fail plus their gaskets are made from recycled copy of the Star You will be fine Beavis its cheap simple motoring and thats what its all about

Thats the thing Stan it is and for very little money. How could i lose? Exactly it's surprising how many cheap cars there are out there 1owner fsh but unloved and unwanted? I al almost certain the 300c will be going up for sale and keep looking autotrader for a cheap replacement and there are loads of options? So far it's down to a Mazda6 or MR2 Roadster again ... But just looked at a Rover 75 not to everyones taste but a good car for a bag of peanuts just a shame about some of the styling

Chris I had an MR2 roadster also ace cars and really cheap now ( looking at £4k ) Had a T4 van also ,unfortunately £9k will not buy you a very tidy camper but why not just got for a panel van or minibus n and convert yourself. Its easy enough just fit a rock and roll bed( I'm doing my Bay van interior at the moment.) Some advice re T4s don't get the petrol, if you can afford it go for the 1.9tdi version or 2.4 engine if you can however the 1.9TD engine I had on mine was fab you just needed to wind it up a little more. They are the bet vans VW built but ensure ita got a FSH and the cambelt has been changed etc

to the club Lee. I am a former Rex owner ( a lot on here) they are totally different cars mate but you will love the Zed for different reasons. Rex has a top quality interior and you know it sticks to the road like glue and sounds like a washing machine on fast spin the Zed is a full on ballcocks out car. It's very well engineered the interior isn't as polished as Rexs but it's pretty good non the same. You have to drive like a total spanner before you trashed it however there is a lot of power on those wheels and unlike the Rex there is no need to rev the pants of it o get a move on. You can also Move it a short distance without having to wait for the engine to warm up before switching off:P No need for oil top ups in fact just keep it serviced and you should have very little to do other than wax it to death and go to club meets with this bunch of loonies! They are good folks and you will enjoy the zed as much I did when had mine. Good Luck with your search you won't regret buying a zed : :

Here we go again! For me I have never liked the posers who got iPhones ( oh and geeks) I hated them, got a Samsung Omnia ( good phone) cr@p os and user interface so got an iPhone interface copy to run on it but either way quality of the phone was pants! Clunky , slow not very logical but fully modifiable though, when I renewed contract it was actually cheaper for me to get an iPhone 3GS and never looked back. Don't advertise the fact I have one still hate iPhone bores droning on about the apps they got - who cares, build quality is spot on, interface second to none -agree it's not perfeect but no Phone is. For me it does everything I need well and I do a lot of remote site surfing and all my apps are just the free ones I won't pay ( tight arse that I am).
