Wasso - any pics of that bug? My mate had a purple bug with ENVY in his rear vents in a similar vein - spent 12 months restoring, building , modding then the week it was finished some scumbag ran into the side of it - poor sod! Aye I know about Bernard Newbury from years ago but I used to do trimming for a living. It crossed my mind to get back into the game and specialise in Classic and VW stuff but not enough hours, or money in it these days, so I do it for myself only. We had out maiden family voyage in the van yesterday - after frantically sewing seat covers for the rock and roll bed I managed to get it bolted in and finished by Saturday just in time! Its been about 10 years since I last went to a Vw show - not much has changed other than it did'nt rain for the first time at Tatton!! Took loads of pictures just a few Van biased ones as a taster. Damn I even took pics of a mint Polo from the mid 70's - never thought I would be doing that!! Lucy liked the show and we think Ania will be into Aircooled VW's - we have never seen her so happy! Here is ours in the car park - Ania test driving the new seat (nappy changing stylie!) Normally the best finds are always in the car park or the for sale section - can't beleive the prices though
