I've got one of these: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/belkin-bluetooth-music-receiver-15-75-delivered-amazon-gomemory-1032475 I paid about £18 for it last year. Just got a standard 3.5mm jack socket on it to plug it into a set of speakers or into a stereo's AUX port. Any device with bluetooth can then connect to it in seconds and it plays all sound via your speakers then. Great for playing music from the iPad or my phone. For £18 the quality is to be expected... i'd say its 7 or 8 out of 10, but as a cheap solution its totally worth it. However if you're a connoisseur you will want something with better quality (the treble via bluetooth seems to high).

Get an LED one. I think i paid a tenner for a pair from Halfords, but you can get them for a couple of quid off ebay.

Is that what you think was on it? or what I should use? Thinking about it, it did look like a type of thin tape but seeing as the car is 7 years old (today in fact) I guess it would have set rock hard by now. Cheers, Pete Either or... i cant think of any semi-permanent bonds other than tape so would have imagined this is what they have used... and you can safely use it again in. If you need to get it off, you'll need to get some bug and tar remover or similar and scrape it off with your nail... or just tape straight over it.

I dont think its a bizarre thread at all. With the amount of 'How much is my car worth' threads we get, in how many of those are we telling the seller that his car's not worth as much as he thinks? We dont help ourselves.

Painful! We had a blackout on christmas eve a couple of years ago but thankfully it was sorted by the morning. My christmas day was above average. For presents I got a standard garden hosepipe as my main present, a new soldering iron as mine had broke, and some wheel cleaner, as well as an airfix model of a battleship for me to build over the next couple of days while watching chrismas movies (its a bit of a tradition from when i was a kid!).

Im not a big drinker, and i've not had a big drink on Christmas day in about 10 years, however yesterday i fancied a few so i had a few Snowballs in the morning with my mum (Advacaat and Lemonade), then some Cava and Asti with the meal, and then i was on Vodka, Lime & Soda for the evening. However i stopped drinking at around 10pm so i had a stinking hangover by midnight!

The NRAs answer for everything is more guns. Their response to last weeks massacre was to state schools should have armed 'good guys' in schools to fight off the armed bad guys.

You should be able to buy a replacement panel relatively cheaply. If you have a spare LCD monitor open it up and see if the ribbon connector is the same as the one on the laptop - if so - try it out to see if it works - is so you have confirmed that the panel is at fault and not something worse on the motherboard... Look on ebay for replacement panels or any good independent specialist should be able to source one.

I heard JC on the Chris Evans Show a few weeks ago and he said the christmas special is going to be on at the end of Jan/early Feb!
