  1. Dont knock it till you've tried it Dave... (not the angry birds ). I think its just easier to see when on a HUD and its not distracting at all. Its because you dont have to adjust your focus to see something near and then back to far again. You can just sense it in your peripheral vision. Anyway, i emailed the company in Taiwan selling the iphone projector and they want $175 for one, and im not paying that
  2. Rare as rocking horse @*!# mate in white. You'd be best buying the cheapest colour and getting it wrapped in white instead.

    Japfest!

I thought last years was the 10th anniversary? Either way - a great show in my opinion.
  4. Happy Birthday pal, hope you have a good one!
  5. When the car is imported, it will have to go through an SVA test. As part of this they change the main speedo to output in MPH, and every import i've seen has a tiny square of black electrical tape stuck over the k in kmph, so it looks like mph. You can barely see it.

    HIDs

Should be a straight swap but if you can find a pair for less than £800 then you're doing well.
  7. When are you going dude? Im in Prague on my mates stag do from 18-22nd April... 5 day bender!! There are 12 of us i think. Were staying here: http://www.capitalapartmentsprague.com/
  8. You can fit the UK spec guage pods as a straight swap and they work perfectly.
  9. Try this - http://metafaq.nissa...oklet190605.pdf This link works.
  10. If you can provide the reflectors, then yes I can retrofit the LED's for you. PM me for more info if you're interested.

    HIDs

Wjen you turn them on do they flicker very slightly first, before appearing to warm up and get brighter? Is so they're HIDs. If you have them you can buy bulbs off eBay for about £9 each. You need to buy D2R bulbs, and you just need to increase the colour temperature. I think the standard bulbs are only 4300k which are very yellow. I have 10000k in my car and they are perfect white, but i might try 12000k next time for a bit more of a bluish tint.
  12. Licking your finger? I just watched the video - that was ace! Ronnie O'Sullivan came across as a bit of a paedo.
  13. Dont bother, mine did that and i spent ages trying everything on it but it never came back.
  14. Mario Kart.
  15. Happy birthday el fella!
  16. I heard that a long time ago that they the odds of the picture cards coming out is higher on online poker than in real life, as they like to inflate the excitement and get people betting more.

    "Fix A Flat"

If you use the canned stuff does it not make it impossible for any punctures to be repaired? That would put me right off....
  18. +1 i heard that.
  19. Like this?
  20. From DBlock's page that Colin linked to - buy this Cal and read the code, then post the results back here and people should be able to point you in the right direction. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OBDMATE-OM500-Scan-Tool-OBD-II-JOBD-Code-Reader-/160918631423?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item25777f73ff
  21. Import only on the front windscreen. Down by the traction control button. I have the button on mine... but it doesnt do anything.
  22. Maybe consider part-worns? I've just bought a pair of part worn Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's in 275/35/19, both with 4.5mm tread on them. I got them in separate auctions from separate people, but i've got them both in hand now and paid only £100 for the pair incl delivery! These tyres are around £320 each brand new, but mine only have around 45% of their legal tread remaining. So 45% of £640 is £288, meaning i've just bought £288's worth of tyres for £100. An absolute bargain if you ask me. I've had probably 4 or 5 punctures over the last few years, so i've got no intention of putting £640 of rubber at risk to have to bin it if i get a puncture, so it will be part-worns from now on for me.
  23. I know, such dedication to detail is amazing.
