  1. I have talked about how crap dp-motorsport many times on here. They sold me faulty wheels and wouldnt refund them, and kept giving me delivery date after delivery date only for them not to arrive...
  2. Crap... you got my hopes up then!! 27mpg... Okay - So i've made a list of cars which can be bought for less than £7k (not more than 90k on the clock) and worked out the fuel costs, and how much it will cost me over 2 years... This is not finished yet - just what i could do on my lunch hour.
  3. My best mate has a mondeo st tdi and its a great car - just well overpriced - looking at £8k for a 2003 Civic is interesting... hadnt thought of that.
  4. To be honest driving has never hurt my back, so im not too worried about that - but thanks Performance diesels... what others are there? I've looked at the 330d which is on another list i have, but the 5-series diesels are above my budget (for such an old car). The only decent diesels i can think of are Leon Focus TDCI Mondeo TDCI Golf GT 530d/535d Any more...?
  5. Cheers Stew. Yep i've been using that site for the fuel calculator, but the trouble with any of these sites, they always seem to list the 'top 10 most economical cars' etc... I think i need a list of performance cars and their MPG's, so i can get the right balance... My budget - im undecided, but want to spend between £3k and £8k... pretty wide range, i know, but i would prefer to spend as little as possible. So for example, i can get the following: Seat Leon Cupra R - £6000 - 32mpg = £4200 p/a Seat Leon Cupra D - £6000 - 53mpg = £2700 p/a Audi S3 - £6500 - 29mpg = £4700 p/a BMW 330ci - £5000 - 31mpg = £4400 p/a BMW 328ci - £4000 - 31mpg = £4400 p/a Performance is a big issue for me, so i dont want something that is gonna be slow!
  6. Hey all... Im car hunting at the moment for a daily driver. Im going to be doing 25k a year in my new role at work, so need something with as high MPG as possible, but it's also gotta be quick, and as cool as possible (which is subjective, i know) I've been trawling through autotrader and parkers trying to narrow down what car to get, but its painstakingly slow going into every vehicle make and model to get the MPG figures... So has anyone ever come across a list of cars and their respective MPG figures?
  7. Man, im jealous... I used to box and train religiously, until a spinal injury in 2008 from football. Now i struggle to walk, and cant do anything like this anymore. ...i started cycling about 8 weeks ago which seems to be helping - but its really sloooow progress... i just want to be able to do this sort of thing again!!
  8. Ey up Stan! Get a fiesta like mine... its wicked to drive! No joke - im really enjoying it. I drive it like i stole it and am having a lot of fun. I just need to remember that the brakes aren't the best... That said, i've got a promotion coming at work and will be getting a company car allowance, and have been going through a similar thought process to you. I dont mind the german cars though, and have more or less settled on a 01-04 Audi A4 1.9 tdi. 60k on the clock, 50mpg - for under £6k. 700 miles a week stan - how can you not want a diesel? Anyway, someone earlier mentioned a Mondeo... my best mate has the previous gen diesel mondeo ST, and its a very nice car. Great interior and pretty rapid too... i'd have one but they're a little but above my budget (£8.5k ish). Good luck though matey.
  9. Your zed looks jealous - i think it wants some attention.
  10. I like it. Good photoshop skills for the wording...
  11. Top tune...! Thats years old... Im loving the new Eminem album... i've been a massive fan since day 1 and this is his first decent music of any kind since Lose Yourself in 2002/2003. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuSQtYiz8Uc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhzQs9imzAI
  12. Not sure but i always had a sound like a vuvuzela from my exhaust when cold...
  13. The detail - the way clint dempsey turns before the shot is identical to how it happened!
  14. No way, nice one buddy! Thats fantastic.
  15. brilliant
  16. I love the AUT eyelids - they were on of the first mods on my zed. I used clear silicone to stick mine on though - i've read many stories about them lying off when you're on the motorway when they're just taped on.

  18. 6points i'd say for that.
  19. +1... the cloth seats are great.
  20. U sure you aint got them already? Most JDM's have the ballast disconnected to get through the SVA when they're imported, but the ballast remains on the car. All you'll need is the bulbs. If you can get a look at the bottom of your headlights and you see the ballast attached to the bottom of the light, then you dont need anything else.
  21. +1... this is usually a symptom of incorrect front vs rear tyre sizes, rather than mis-matched makes.
  22. That looks very smart pal how was the roller? Did you get to drive it or just a passenger? Congrats to you both.
