  1. Wow... http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArtic ... rs/251748/
  2. this sound like a job for super shed! car.. when its time is up i'll find a field and do this! I used to have a sub and amp in an old bmw which would occasionally switch off, and i'd need to restart the car to get it back on... So one day while driving on a straight road, it went off so i decided to switch the engine on and off again without stopping. Only when i did this, the steering lock engaged and i drifted onto the other side of the road, with no steering and very little brakes. Handbrake saved me though...! Luckily nothing was coming!
  3. Do not, i repeat DO NOT get the wheels at the bottom - Wolfrace/Ruff Racing Sharks. I had them for about 3 months, and i couldnt go over 80mph. They were so heavy it made the ride feel bad, and i couldnt go over 80 mph as the whole car was shaking. Had the tyres refitted, and the car laser aligned several times, but no joy. The last straw was when one of the stainless steel lips actually came apart from the wheel and buckled... Its a shame as i think they look great.
  4. The Merc is still on the cards Andy... but im still waitig for my promotion to be confirmed at work I'll probably keep this beemer for 6months or so. But yes, looking forward to some drifting again Mini Brilliant. i am planning some gloss black wheels... Gay fiesta.... 50k miles, 1.25 zetec, 9 months MOT and 3 months tax £800. I was offered £500 trade-in, but there was no point in letting it go for that price, its a good little car.
  5. Well, having sold the zed in May and having bought a bloody fiesta for £1100 as i needed a car that day, i couldnt put myself through it any longer... its just too much of a gay car!! So i've been umming and arring about what to get until i can afford a zed again, and this is about the best value car i could find... BMW E46 323Ci Coupe, FSH, full leather, 122k, long T&T, £2,995! The car is in great condition - no dents etc, although there are a lot of little scratches on it - most of which should polish out. I drove over to Chesterfield at 7.30am this morning and signed on the dotted line... But for under £3k, i think thats a bit of a bargain So if anyone needs a gay fiesta... mine will be up for sale very soon.
  6. I really like this idea, and is an entertaining read. But surely you can think of better things than these free-roll tournaments making 2p a time? is eBay out of the question? Surely some money to be made on there... reselling, dropshipping etc...?
  7. I like it. Keep it. Its better than everyone having this bloody vulture symbol!
  8. Mondeo ST diesel? My mate has one and it's very nice inside, nice to drive... and massive! £8.5k. I wouldn't have a golf... im not a fan, and the golf's i've been in have very boring interiors. Old CTR and current Leon's have similarly crap interiors. New shape Civic type R has a great interior though. Never been in a modern focus so cant comment there. How about 4x4? Get an X5, Lexus RX, you can even get a leggy Range Rover for £12k now. Alternatively, Merc C-Class or E-Class?
  9. Hi, For sale is a pair of pre-facelift custom LED front reflectors. I designed and fitted the electronics myself. The LED's are drilled through the reflector body and are glued in place. The reflector was then filled with clear silicone sealant to protect the electronics from moisture etc. I was attempting to start a little business on here providing these (see links below), but the availability of the reflectors was an issue, so i have since changed my mind and am no longer doing them. Therefore, this is the only pair that i have got. Also, please don't ask if i can do these for facelift models - i cant. I get asked this about once a week! (So if anyone else fancies having a stab, there's a market for the facelift reflectors!). viewtopic.php?f=38&t=34635&hilit=led* viewtopic.php?f=32&t=33081&hilit=led* To fit these, you need to take your bumper off to get access, and then tap into the sidelight power source (i.e. the first setting on your lights). I will provide you with the wire and the connectors for this. Price is £30 + £2.50 P&P.
  10. 'Yeah, Northwood's in the house now...!' I watched that on Tuesday night too...
  11. How much did you pay for this car, if you dont mind me asking...? Also, can anyone remember what the other topic that this car appeared in was? I cant find it and have been searching for 10 minutes!!
  12. Yep, sounds just like ABS that...
  13. +1 The garage will have a book of swatches - just hold them up against your car...
  14. +1 in all my cars i think i rest my foot on the clutch pedal... the pedal doesn't move at all...

    Y pipe wanted

Got a standard Y-Pipe incl flange things from a 2006, 20k mile zed. Yours for £20 + P&P if interested.
  16. Welcome bud... what issues?
  17. Yes, or even easier with a wheel off. Make sure you get the straw/nozzle as far into the rubber boot as possible.

    Blingaling

    Very impressive.
  19. Hang in there bud. Dont go reducing the price too soon. I got £8k for mine 3 months ago, with all my mods removed. The only advise i can give though, is dont bother with PH or eBay... i tried for months to sell mine on there, and then i thought i'd bite the bullit and pay for it to go on autotrader... and then within 2 weeks it was gone. Nice car, and i'd have it off you if my circumstances were different. GLWS.
