  1. But how much business is lost by not advertising prices? I personally assume if the price isnt listed, it's more than i can afford. I dont want to waste the traders time inquiring. A ballpark figure would be good... i.e. 'These wheels will cost £1200 - £1300 depending on exchange rates etc. If prices change significantly, we will let you know.' I cant see prices fluctuating so much that it's outside of the ballpark figure. I dont always know if an item is going to be £1200, or £2200, so the ballpark would promote business as far as im concerned. I agree that's easily done for imported goods but not so for second hand and specialist/limited edition parts Agree on specialist/iported stuff... ...but then i wouldnt be buying these anyway cos they're too expensive
  2. For anyone interested, or those who dont already know about emulation, go to this site and you can download any/all of the games talked about in this thread, and play them on your PC. http://www.emuparadise.org/ I've used this site for a long time, and it is an excellent resource.

  4. For me, im more of a bargain spotter than setting my sights on a particular item, so when the actual price isnt listed then i'll simply disregard the item, assuming it's gonna be too expensive for me! However, if i knew a set of wheels i liked was £1200 for example, i would then have the target in my mind of how much i needed. I understand why they dont show prices, but it really winds me up. Also, i'll never PM a trader to ask for a price, as 99% of the time i wont want the item, and i'll feel like im wasting their time.
  5. Cant you just put some clear silicone around it?
  6. I've never heard of the issue before either, but if Nissan dont come up with a decent goodwill gesture, definitely speak to zmanalex above as he will be able to give you a much better price/service than any dealer.
  7. Nice one Stan. Im starting to like these MX5's now...
  8. Waverace Blue Storm was excellent, and the Mario alternative was Super Mario Sunshine, which was quite weak to be fair, but did include some legendary sections in it. Super Smash Brothers Melee is also good too. Also, Metroid was on the GC too, and got great reviews, although im not a fan personally. Another top N64 game i forgot... BlastCorps!!
  9. Quality...!! Get it drifting NOW...!
  10. What colour was it? It might give a clue to who it was
  11. eBay USA... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/350Z-JDM ... ccessories They're $74 incl delivery... so thats about £50quid i think. Only other chance is 2nd hand...
  12. You left out Secret Of Mana, you heathen! I cant stand RPG games at all... the only ones i've ever been able to play through are Shenmue 1 & 2, Zelda: Link's Awakening, and Mystican Ninja Starring Goeman (on the N64). ...But i appreciate that that Secret of Mana/Evermore were some of the all time greatest RPGs..
  13. Just get one. They are for sound only. They sound excellent. Its all about the 'swoosh' sound (technical term) when you put your foot down, before the engine starts to roar.

  15. What did you use to get them apart bud? A heat gun? I'll be sealing mine up with clear silicone sealant.
  16. Love it mate. It must be a relation to mine... mine was HS03 LSX blade import, so not far away!
  17. Its a mistake that you've been paying so much this long! Only post 2006 cars should be paying £400+ Maybe see if you can get a refund??
  18. What year is your car? Is it a UK model?
  19. Hi all, Im slightly reluctant to post this as i've not totally finished them yet, but here's a quick sneak peek... These are standard '06 onwards reflectors which have been retrofitted with some pre-made superbright white LED strips. I've mounted the LED's so that they're forward facing, rather than side facing as with the old-style reflectors i did. There are 21 LED's in the strip. Here are some pictures and a video. I've got the flash on the camera so you can see the individual LED's... they are very bright, and without the flash, the whole reflector looked illuminated. I can retrofit these LED's to your existing reflectors for £40 + P&P. Please PM me if interested.
  20. Needs propper diagnosis rather than random part buying! It could be £2.50 sensor somewhere. Can you get it into neutral and tow it? Shouldnt be too difficult. I highly doubt nissan have the knowledge to look into this, as nissan mechanics are largely morons (may be a bit of a broad stroke there, but it's true), and they will have no knowledge of import/auto box's. I would visit several garages, taking the manual with you and asking if they have the capability to read from the TCM. Good luck buddy.
  21. I really like that...
  22. Faulty thermostat i reckon? Common on beemers, but not sure about the zed.
  23. Sorry to keep going on - but READ THE MANUAL!! It talks about the throttle position sensor and how codes can be read from the TCM, and that they're stored in the ECM etc. Have you got any lights on your dash?? If you dont understand it, i would print the manual, or take it on a laptop to the garage or an auto electrician. It's the Nissan service manual that they work through to diagnose problems with the AT transmission!!!! It could be a faulty sensor, or solenoid, or TCM module or anything. If your car didnt start, would you replace the engine?? You cant have burnt out 2 gear boxes, for them to have the exact same symptoms can you? Burning out a 'box doesnt happen overnight...!
