  1. Get some WD or Plus Gas or similar on them a few days before... i managed to round the nuts off on mine and had to get a garage to basically burn them off with the acetylene torch...
  2. Have a search... all of the above are discussed on here on a daily basis.
  3. Have you got an external hard drive? If so, boot it up in safe mode (either keep pressing F8 during boot up, or keep switching it off mid-startup until it prompts you for safe mode), and then put EVERYTHING on your external drive, and then re-install windows. Should take you 2 hours tops.
  4. Great cars guys, they both look fantastic... (I love those wheels Cragus... )
  5. They look great... Are they 20's?
  6. Nice nuts... ...and the rest of the car's not bad either...
  7. Hi all, Im after a first car for the missus as she's learning to drive at the moment. I've been looking for a small diesel hatchback for about 3 weeks now without any luck. I'll also be borrowing it every now and then for work as i do a lot of miles, so it needs to be big enough to be comfortable on the motorway. My criteria is: Reliable Up to 10 years old Diesel Hatch back (ie. no sticky out boot, so its easy for her to drive) Under 100k miles. Not too small. I would like a civic, but they're around £3k at the mo (and i dont want to spend too much, because i just know she'll crash it - everyone does when they start driving!) Not interested in anything french... Anyone? I've spent the last 3 hours on autotrader/ebay looking for options... i've called about 10 people and they're either all sold, or sound like a scam (crap excuses why i cant come to the garage to view
  8. WTF is the white thing on the center cubby?
  9. They are US spec headlights... HID's are standard on UK cars but optional on JDM and US cars.
  10. I thought the help required would be with how to spell 'Suspention'... And yes,
  11. Has your friend got any pics of his lights? I would try refurbing before buying new ones... He can take the plastic lens back several layers with wet dry paper, and then work with finer grade papers before polishing with a machine buffer and that should restore the lens quality. Failing that, those that you have linked to - there's no mention that they are for HID equipped cars - if they're not you will have to retrofit your existing ballasts and wiring to them. If they are non-HID the location for the ballast (under the light) will be blanked over, so you will have to cut the hole using a dremmel or similar. The other problem you may experience is with the connector plug - it's probably a different shape - but you can cut off your existing plugs and retrofit them to these lights, although you'll probably lose the auto-levelling feature...
  12. Yeh that cop is a knob on a power trip. He probably pulled them for something stupid in the 1st place and thats why they were pi**ed off...
  13. I agree, it's an intake modification, and i believe that is one of their categories...
  14. I use the cheapo Turtlewax Nanotech Extreme Speed Wax... because there's a picture of a zed on the bottle... I find it works excellently.
  15. + 1 to that order, but the weight is a good shout too. Im not a fan of the axis wheels...
