    New Boots!

I've got no idea... he turned up at the large KK meet in manchester last month... everyone there seemed alright, then he turned up, revving his car like a clown in an 'everybody look at me' manner.... and i was just thinking 'No thanks'...
  2. Or PM CS... another trader.
  3. I am... I paid my dues and then only sold 1 LED kit before selling my zed... I want to get a working concept this week if possible before deciding what to do... im not sure i'l bother going down the remote control route as that just increases the cost... i might just put it on a 3 way rocker switch.
  4. Thanks Mike. Welcome Yoyo... Yes, i had an Auto for 2.5 years, and i loved it. I've now got a manual, which is also excellent but totally different. All Auto's are in fact Semi Auto, or 'Tiptronic' as its known. They have 5 gears, but you just select 'Drive' and it will use all gears from there. However if you push the gearstick to the left you go into tiptronic mode, and then pushing back or forwards on the stick changes gear for you. There is about a 1 second delay when doing this. Speed wise, the Auto's are just as quick as the manual in my opinion, although you do lose some of the fun as you cant change down and match the revs heel & toe style with the auto... If you do a lot of driving and sit in traffic jams, then the auto is an excellent option. They're very reliable too - i've only read of 1 failure in several years on here... compared to a lot og clutch/gearboxes on the manual cars... Lastly, you probably allready know this but all Auto's are imports, but there's nothing wrong with that.
  5. Welcome Laura
  6. Just received matey - legend. Shows me exactly what i needed to know. Thats the rest of my week off sorted now...
  7. Cheers buddy, PM sent.
  8. Hi all, To all the people who bought the motorised number plate brackets last year - has anyone got any pictures of the device before you fitted it? I want to make my own from scratch... i've been coming up with a few designs myself and trying to make my own linear actuator - but looking at one of the pictures on the Swift website the unit appears to be driven by a pulley? Is this correct? Any pictures would be much appreciated. Cheers.
  9. Any of you guys know anyone who works on a rig near Brazil? A scottish lad (early 20's) bought my previous zed last May, and he said he spends the majority of his time on a rig of the coast of Brazil... i told him to join the forum but he never did... and i cant remember his name.

Looks good. Love the wheels, i like the front lip, but not a fan of the gold on the side... they remind me of this shocker at a recent meet:

    Ashtray

Take it out and go round it with black electrical tape a few times, and push it back in... thats should pad it out a bit...
  20. Awesome... I've been to Texas 5 or 6 times (i forget) as my Dad lived there for 13 years until recently... He lived in Austin, which is an awesome city - i definitely recommend it. 6th Street is a very good night out for Live music etc, and the people are all so friendly. If you make it to Austin, i recommend a restaurant called 'Chuys' (pronounced Chew-ies) - they do the BEST Tex-Mex food... Steak Burrito with green Chilli sauce, and some frozen margheritas... amazing. George Bush's daughter got arrested in there once for drinking alcohol under the age limit! Actually, i've just looked them up, and they have a few restaurants throughout the state... http://www.chuys.com/#/locations My Dads moved to upstate new york now so im going there for xmas, but im definitely going to miss the Lone Star State...
  21. Any garage will be able to read it - its just a standard ODB2 connector in the drivers footwell. You could even buy a reader off ebay for under £30 and read it yourself...
