  2. they've banned drinking in chat btw... well you wont be seeing much more of me on there then
  3. yeah I remember that But I am having a thick lacquer put on after
  4. Is that for all 4, inc tyre removal, putting them back on, balancing them again etc? TBH thats not a bad price from them. It will be far far better than any wheel finish you will get from any OEM, better than Volks/Rays etc too. Trust me, find the money and get it done right, they will look amazing Yep - they even swapped my old wheels over for me! I decided to go for gloss black with diamond cut rim - they said it will take a week so once done I will post up pics of the results
  5. You are lucky it lasted that long! - I had to replace mine at 28k!
  6. Exedy is a good replacement for OEM - might be worth replacing fly wheel while you are at it. IIRC ZMANALEX supplies a bundle kit - drop him a PM
  7. I am sure I have seen 12v heated jackets for NoS bottles
  8. Interesting... but how do new brake lines make such a difference?
  9. Just had a quote from Spit and Polish - powdercoat or wet, with polished rim, laquer £291 inc vat
  10. Its a normal steel socket - the ones with plastic sleeve didn't fit wheel hole - but wrapping electric tape around it will do the job
  11. All sorted now! - quick trip to Halford's and got a slimline socket
  12. When I fitted new wheels, the OEM nuts were too big to fit, so I had to temporarily use the nuts from my spacers (which I obviously removed! ) Spacer nuts: OEM nuts too big to get socket over: So I guess I need some slimline nuts - any recommendations? Found these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350-Z-Allo ... _918wt_911 but dont know it they are any good etc...
  13. Spit and Polish are a stones throw from my office - and they are more expenses than others. Lepsons are near my parents down the coast, and I am going down there today, so might pop in! Cheers Chris
  14. Good price Whos that from? I paid £260ish for my front bumper to be sprayed OUCH! My local bodyshop charges £150/panel (and bumper etc counts as panel) - they did my roof for £150 edit: ps - that was cash in hand
  15. second pic looks very cheers matey
  16. Further to this thread: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=38169 What are you opinions about Powder coating vs Paint? I have read this viewtopic.php?f=61&t=13283 but that looks to be an isolated incident and was a couple of years ago etc David
  17. Mark - while you got your photoshop head on! can you do the rest of the wheel black (behind spoke) and just leave the polished rim - also would be good to see in gloss - cheers fella
  18. Just finished putting them on and am please with them (excuse crappy iphone pics!)
  19. 5th Gear prize tonight was a 2004 350z! - I entered - you never know
  20. I will soon, I have been meaning to for a long time etc - but just researching this topic this morning I have come across some horrible stats about smoking - it might be the incentive I needed!
  21. I'm not trying to be self-righteous about cigarette smoke invading my life, when my driving habits are clearly much more polluting and dangerous than anyone's smoking habit will ever be. But the burning of fossil fuels is something that in the present we can't live without, the world depends on the burning of fossil fuels, it doesn’t however rely on the smoking of tobacco.... Anyway, the budget talk has digressed into a smoker tax war....... Was a fun debate though
  22. you are worried about inhaling an occasional wiff of tobacco as you are walking down the street? so you think tax should be raised to make everyone give up - on that basis the same street you are walking down has far more dangerous car fumes which you are inhaling - so should the government make petrol £10 per litre to make people give up driving??
  23. Corrected Smoking is a personal choice - the fact that you don't like it doesn't mean it should be overtaxed. Also the argument about passive smoking in now invalid as its against the law to smoke indoors in public places.
