  1. If you can even find a Double Din HU for less than £200, I cant imagine it will be much good mate Bose conversion kit (PAC ROEM adaptor for speakers) is about £35 - but I believe most people here change speakers anyway some info here: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Category ... lectronics
  2. mate - I wasn't being pedantic but your previous post or link didn't show that info so the OP wouldn't have understood etc ******at this point you need to count the CEL light flashes, think it starts by falshes 10 times slowly to indicate it is beginning then faster for the code. For example if it flashes 10 times slowly, 3 times fast, 2 times fast, 5 times fast 10 times slow then the code would be 325, then just match to the code list.********
  3. Thats CLEARING CODES quote "Clearing Codes There are several ways to clear ECU error codes. Scan Tool If using a scan tool, follow tool manufacturer’s instructions to clear Codes. Manual Method..."
  4. Where does it say that In the first paragraph it says: "You will need an OBDII scanner in order to pull the error codes" Cant see any other reference - unless I am being totally blonde tonight
  5. Not sure its wise to just reset the ECU - the error warning is there for a reason. You will need an OBDII scanner to see what the error is - this device plugs in just below and to the right of the steering wheel (most garages/mechanics will have one). Check error code again the list posted. If there is no error code, then it should be safe to reset the ECU as described as above. Very often the error is something non-vital and normally electrical, but it could be something serious so get it checked with a scanner

  7. Yep - bigger is better as the greater the volume of water, the more stable it is. Saying that, I have had a couple of Nano-Cubes and they were easy to maintain - google 'nano cube' for more info
  8. I feel for you mate - but I'm not surprised - your driveway is well tight!! Im picking your old wheels up tomorrow - all nicely refurbed and PC black
  9. Once the system is setup an mature - checks only really need to be done once a week etc. Checks include: ammonia levels, nitrite levels, nitrate level - copper, pH, temp, salinity, phosphate and so on! But the bigger the tank, the more stable it is - and a fortnightly 10% water change should keep everything right
  10. nice When I started mine - Dave Saxby was my hero - 3000 gallon tank - check out his tank here http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h ... s%3Disch:1 and here http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h ... s%3Disch:1
  11. I'm selling mine half the fun is in the build - I will be starting from scratch again when I do it
  12. I started tropical and went marine as well - had to sell up when I got divorced though Marine can be extremely expensive - my tank was 6ft x 3ft x 3ft and I reckon over 5 years it cost me approx £7k -live rock alone (fijian) cost £1200 and dont get me started on the filtration and plumbing! At the time though, it was well worth the money - I would spend hours staring at all the critters that came out when the lights went out and only the moon light was on - very therapeutic! When I move again (soon hopefully) I'm going to get a new setup - oh god - more money!
  13. Only 18 times! I always have it on when I am messing about on PC - just as background sound lol As sad at it sounds, it is probably my most favourite movie ever!
  14. Was watching Star Trek (2009 movie, yet again! lol) - admittedly it was loud but I have 800w amps and speakers are rated well over that - but there was a spike in sound when they jumped to warp
  15. As if this month hasn't been expensive enough for me - alloys from the dog and refurb cost (which I am really looking forward to seeing!!! ) now I have just blown a speaker on my home cinema system The system is (was) perfect - Denon THX amps with 8:1 Bower and Wilkins speakers - cost well over £5k! Looks like tweeter and mid range/bass (kevlar) has blown on front centre speaker - now it all sounds like shite I am dreading the repair bill
  16. What should RE050's be - same as 40's?
  17. Dan - we've only met once in real life when you kindly helped me with my suspension - I thought you was a sound bloke But to be honest mate, for someone that wants us to all get along, surely the above comments are going to aggravate things further
  18. Bolt is very visable - top of arch IIRC and there are only 3-4 poppers to take of - use small flathead screwdriver to pull out central pin on poppers You dont have to remove the entire lining, just enough to get access
  19. Always used Tescos 99 As others have said, the improved MPG out-weighs the extra cost - so its a 'no-brainer' really
  20. forgot to mention - I did mine with wheel on (full lock) but it would be easier to take wheel off
  21. I did my sidelights a couple of weeks ago - no need to remove bumper. The wheel trim is held on with one bolt and the rest are clips/poppers. Its a tight fit getting hand in gap, expect some scratches! but doesn't take long
  22. sorry to hear this James Give Aylesford Accident Repair a call http://www.aylesfordaccidentrepairs.co.uk/ Ask for Russ (the boss) - mention me (David with 350z) and he will sort you out a great price mate. Their work is excellent as well. In Tonbridge, there is also Tonbridge Coachworks - they are a customer of mine - but they will be a lot more expensive and wont work for cash. Dave
