PETROL AND DIESEL ENGINES WITH A 9000 MILE SERVICE INTERVAL
TRAVELLING LESS THAN 18,000 MILES PER YEAR
The table below will show you how to decide which service is due on your vehicle.
You should read the table from the left hand side. In the first column, you can see that the first service is due at either one year
or 9000 miles. When you reach either of these milestones, your vehicle is due for its first service. The type of service is shown
on the bottom line. In this case it will be a P1 service. The P1 service checklist is shown on the opposite page.
Once this service has been performed, the next service is due when you reach 2 years or 18,000 miles. This is a P2 service
(again, the checklist is shown opposite). At three years or 27,000 miles, whichever you reach first, another P1 service should
be carried out and so on throughout the vehicle’s life.
Some additional service items are shown in the right hand corner of the service checklist. These items will be carried out in addition to
the standard services when required.
