  1. If your going near Birmingham area then make sure to wave!!! Would love to be able to tell you what area we will be in but I havnt got a clue!! Its all a mystery!
  2. I don't know how to fix the link but it's on PH classified part&accessories on page 5. £600 seems to good to be true when you find front bumpers only for over £ 400 I think that unless it's from Rick on here I will stay away from it Lots of times you get what you pay for, and some exclusivity and quality of the real thing. but its always down to the cash in your pocket! At that price will probably be the same mate. Only a few places around that make the replicas up, normally in China and Taiwan.. Out of the replica items Shine is seen as the best ones to go for for fit and quality. But I think you saw them the other day!!
  3. I have the typhoon with a pop charged and it does make a difference on air and temp... drove with it removed and the readings with the camp2 were less air and more heat without the tube... Interesting. Was that at all speeds or just higher ones? I might go get a normal intake flexitube and add it to mine if thats the case All mate, tested over a weekend, saturday with, sunday without, motorway, backroads and town, same routes... even the way my front plate is fitted has an effect (for the worse!!) on the ammount of direct air... flexi's are worth a go for a test... but I would try and find some sort of scoop to max the volume... you could make one out of some plastic glued together I suppose to "ram" the air up...
  4. Its about what Rik is selling for isnt it? +1 on the poor fit / quality etc but if the one is painted then the hard work of making a badly fitting kit fit has been taken away!! Link to the painted one not working....
  5. I have the typhoon with a pop charged and it does make a difference on air and temp... drove with it removed and the readings with the camp2 were less air and more heat without the tube...
  6. Not sure but I had an idea for yours!!! Speak on Sunday!!!
  7. Not if you got a carbon air dam!! as it will sit under it... (Cant understand whats up with me!! Saying something shouldnt be made in carbon!!! Must be ill!)
  8. Daft question maybe, buts whats the point? Sits behind the grill and you cant see it!! must be easied and cheaper to do one in plastic?
  9. I would name it colin... Looks like the COBRA one to me.... http://www.vangadgets.co.uk/UK/rear-spo ... s2724.html but using a lip spoiler too... Nice!
  10. Lots of Zed stuff for me this weekend! A little trip to the Birmingham area to do a 350z charity treasure hunt (May see some of the guys going to CS as we are driving around!!) in aid of Help for Heros and then a BIG meet on sunday in cambridge with lots of special Nissan cars and the biggest private airshow in the UK... Quite one really with about 500 miles in the Zed
  11. Unfortunaly a respost Jay! Big post about this somewhere.....
  12. It was 288 at the fly Nothing ground breaking there Andy, but shows that these things (remaps) are consistent. As you say, no major HP gain, but drivability is the key thing it adds. WRT the Nismo intakes, did they do any rolling intake temp tests? Via my car PC and OBD hookup, I can see that on the dyno, my popcharger gets majorly warm, about the same delta in temp you see witht he Nismos vs stock. On the road however, they give about the same temps, but I think the popcharger would flow more so does have benefit in real world. Should also be noted that in the States, the stock 06+ airboxes are quite widely regarded as the best intakes for NA tunes. WRT the throttle response, on my 276, you can never achieve full throttle, at any revs. Again via OBD, the highest I've manged to get is 87% throttle. So again this is another benefit of the remap as it allows you full throttle whenever you like. Ultimately I think you have proven again that the remap does work, but you have to go in with the right expectations which you did. It does however make me wonder why your reading seemed to be so down on the SRR dyno? Bad case of heat soak? Or maybe Mark and Adrians cars are running a more power than we think. Certainly shows you need to get mods dyno'd before and after at the same place on the same day to prove they've worked and just forget about the headline figures. Think thats got something to do with the Butterfly on the TB not opening 100% .... Cause I belive non of the 350z's do... Unless you have a piggyback:ninja: I dont know if you can set this on the reflash... Am going to try and get to see Abbey to get mine on there setup very soon to see what mine reads... Am happy that mine is doing what it says as its been the same on 3 so far... More from reason of research than anything! Mark (Abbey), drop me an email if your reading this about when you can fit me in!
  13. If you are looking for ideas for your car your best to login to some of the other 350z forums on the web like my350z.com as they are a wealth of information....
  14. And look in here for ideas!! http://my350z.com/forum/350z-colors/283 ... white.html
  15. Well here is part of it for you!
  16. sure you dont want a hand draw copy of the sistine chapel on it whilst your at it?!!?! Got any bigger pics? Easier to work with!!
  17. for those that were just discussing this in the for sale thread.. Available from zstore in the US, but i seem to remember Envy can get them...
  18. Mine has been cleaned up with a dremel but not to the same standard as the plenum! with no issues, think your right and it was about knocking the butterfly... too many nooks and crannies to polish properly!! (or time and patience!!)
  19. Any mods on the car? Done an ECU reset? I had this happen in 3rd some time ago when it wasnt quiet up to temp... Not TC! No engine lights though and no faults... ! Hasnt done it again though!
  20. there have been issues with polish and PC chris.... unfortunatly!
  21. There is talk on my350z about getting them bored out to the right size. If you look on Adams website I think he does one thats bored out to 3" but its all about getting the flow and balance right through the whole "air" system...
  22. Exactly!! never let the truth stand in the way of a good story!! Judge the dodgy stories yourself, you will know if you can get away with them or if they are too off the mark... its not just about the familys! there is an audience that need a laugh and they are expecting it! PM it over if you need an opinion!! After all I dont know any of them!!
