  1. IKH16 is the stock heatrange from Denso
  2. true duals or singles with Y pipes produce nearly exactly the same gains as one another the stock ecu does not cancel out gains unless fuel trims are out of spec. Yes the stock MAF does have a limit to it, but you won't achieve that with merely and intake and exhaust on most cars As with any modern car, the stock ecu is just restrictive - there is power to be had, and tuning helps to unleash it. There is a limited gain to be reasonably expected without tuning - tuning is what ties in all your mods together to optimize them
  3. in stock if you need contact us with your full address, I can let you know the shipping costs (we ship to Germany all the time)
  4. tbh I think you would struggle to get a GB going - we can easily handle it, but to really capitalize on economies of scale, shipping to 1 address would be required. Can be a shop, someones house, etc. When it starts going to multiple addresses no shipping discount can be applied, so the deal is nearly what it is on just a singular purchase. We tried it a while ago when the exchange rate was favorable and before the price increase from NISMO and it went no where. If you have at least 3 people, maximum of 10 people (beyond that on an item like this and I predic t a nightmare getting everyone to line their ducks up simultaneously), we can look into it and maybe make something happen
  5. cheers guys once again - it was our pleasure Tim - thanks for being the point man on this, could not have gone smoother. Am I reading correctly that you used a torch to install it Guess you really want to make sure that pedal stays on there
  6. SSV = paperweight Cosworth - terrific piece on a car that is reving substantially higher than stock, has cams fitted, etc. Not worth the price of admission on a car with minimal mods
  7. tbh, I would not even bother changing them from stock if you're going to use such narrow sizes. If it's worth spending the time and $ to change, it's worth making both an aesthetic and performance oriented change (ie larger footprint = more grip)
  8. depends on the width and offset of the new wheels
  9. The plenum is a paperweight - utter rubbish. They've been through many revisions of it because they keep cracking. Some get lucky and never have any issue. Every single local customer I have with it (we never sold this piece by the way) has moved on to something else The cats I have not heard of any issues with except when mated to NISMO exhausts
  10. yep, we sent them UPS, so should be there very soon
  11. not sure about the ones ESR had, never saw them - I was referring to the ones shown in the link earlier in the thread - those pictures were not OEM units just to remind, the price posted includes each units share of shipping to the UK too - way better than boxing/shipping each one separately
  12. the NISMO midpipe is 3 inches correct - I believe stock is 2.5 inches I'd have to measure my OEM one which is here at the shop). NISMO tips are similarly sized to OEM..maybe a touch larger I've never had a single issue with the NISMO exhaust and the stock cats. We've also done about 30 setups with the Ultimate Racing cats, to customers here in the states, in Italy and Spain and I'm not aware of any issues there either. It's all down to the quality of manufacturing with respect to the cat flanges. Some of the ones I've seen were just wrong, which is why we just stick to selling what we know works, vs offering everything under the sun. For test pipes, we've done these mainly with the Invidia units and again, no reported incidents at all
  13. Thanks again guys for participating and thanks Tim for being the point man. Stuff like this is easy as pie to do and lets you guys save a good amount of $ vs sending one at a time to individuals. Tracking # sent to you Tim - should be with you in just a few days time
  14. correct - I don't get involved in any 'el cheapo' replica parts - we strictly stick to OEM the one on other sites that say "crystal", etc are not genuine Nissan pieces. The one we would offer will be a genuine Nissan part, in a Nissan box, and will be a 100% direct fit and match for the one on the other side of the bumper
  15. Not true unfortunately, it has to do more with the quality of the flanges used on the aftermarket cats, and the angles they were welded at. Many of them are just off by enough to cause alot of stress in the Y pipe, which manifests itself in the flex section (the flex ends of cracking, not the braided portion itself. The 2 most frequent combos have been with kinetix and crawford cats.
  16. the Y pipes can crack when mated to some aftermarket test pipes and cats (most notably, Kinetix and Crawford)
  17. have you datalogged it to see what exactly it's doing as far as air fuel, knock, etc?
  18. good find on the write up! So here are the figures guys Based on 5 shipping to 1 address in the UK: $200.00 each (price includes pro-rata share of shipping) Based on 10 shipping to 1 address in the UK: $194.00 each (price includes pro-rata share of shipping) Based on 15 shipping to 1 address in the UK: $185.00 each (price includes pro-rata share of shipping) Based on 20 shipping to address in the UK: $180.00 each (price includes pro-rata share of shipping) we have 2 in right now, can get more within 2-7 days
  19. no problem, I wasn't sure what side it was on, so I guessed I'll post the info today on pricing
  20. Alex is spot on let us know if you need the hardware, I may have it also make sure your car has the rear bolt holes predrilled...some cars don't (tends to be early 03's and some 04's but better to know in advance)
  21. stock crank pulley = 7.4 lbs UR underdriven crank pulley - 1.5 lbs UR stock diameter crank pulley - 2.05 lbs
  22. here is what it looks like just so there are no misunderstandings, this will delete the rear fog lamp on your car, and turns it either into a functional reverse light (so now you'll have 1 per side), or I suppose you could just leave it and not do anything. I know Kwame here at the shop actually installed the UK fog kit to his car, so when he is back from class I'll ask what is needed to make it fully functioning and get all relevant pricing
  23. no problem - give me about an hour and I'll put some figures together with these small items, I think the group buy model works well because you save alot on the per unit shipping costs
