    Connect positive to positive battery terminals then negative on donor car battery to a good earth point on your engine. Suggest large nut on engine strut brace

Threads, what threads! Top work as always Chris. You should get a job at Haynes Manuals. They could do with a few more photos in their catalogues on how to do the task in hand
