on a mixture of A and B roads on the way to work with only the odd chance of getting my foot down and a lot of heavy traffic I get about 23 ish.

Hey, don't get me wrong I agree with you there! You do me some DIY and I'll happily iron your shirts! Unfortunately in my house I do it all!

well the truth is, you wouldn't leave the top of the toothpaste (yes actually you probably would), the petrol cap off, the lid off the kettle blah blah. Lids are there to be closed - AND did you know that everytime you flush the loo microscopic bits of your number two's are sprayed around your bathroom possibly onto your toothbrush if the lid is up when you do it!

God, how awful having to abandon it! I have been so lucky to get home from Stansted yesterday to Yorkshire. Stopped off near your neck of the woods (nottingham and Belper) thank god it wasn't tonight!

just been out and shovelled all the snow away from front of garage, thrown a whole bag of dishwasher salt on it but still can't get the car in backwards or frontways - just snaking all over the place. And why is it when you open snow covered windows it always falls INSIDE!

Ah Victoria Dock - I once went to a party there when it was first built (think it was that one.........could have been one of the other dockside developments). It was awful to see so many cigarette burns in a new flat! Floor sink - you name it! My childhood dentist was on Beverley Road! What a butcher he was - bet you've got his old place! -

can't you cast them off on a ship and leave them adrift. If you want pics Trev, it looks exactly the same as my pic in the other snow thread!

yep! Can any of you men tell me why it's so difficult to put an empty loo roll in the bin? In my house they leave two squares on it and put a new one on top of the cistern. AND my dustbin is the last one out on the street as usual............ ok, i'm nagging now...........

not back at work until monday anyway. Mind you good job, the house looked like a bomb hit it when I got home last night and how I haven't actually strangled anyone yet is a miracle....so you can guess what i'll be doing tomorrow.

Looks like I got home from france just in time before it started again! Dry and no snow this morning - came down all day and now our village is thick snow AGAIN!!!!! Can't get the car in the garage either as the back wheels are just spinning trying to get it up onto the concrete.
