    only a man could think an average oem aerial resembles a flag pole - the only unusual thing about that is that you want a smaller one! How's this for a flag pole?

    repaired Cat D cars are fine as long as you get a total bargain. For some people it's a way of owning something they couldn't normally afford but obviously it is what it is and will always be a cheap hard to sell car.

    it looks like a private residential area? Was the guy waiting behind a bush to leap out and get his days takings? I saw something on fifth gear about clamping, they were all for taking the clamp off yourself if you could. It's not like you're even causing a problem. Having said that if I lived there and it was my parking space I would be glad you got clamped!

    this is something i've never really got to the bottom of. Mine's an import and i always put higher octane in. I know some people with UK use the bog standard but don't really know if its ok for mine or not so can't help with that one.

    fuel and economy are not two words that readily go together with this car! I usually fill up before the light comes on and put about 50 quid of tesco 99ron in last time. I usually get just under 300 miles out of that driving daily to work in mix of country roads, A roads and traffic jams. According to the computer its an average of about 24mpg

    I went into Town for lunch and shopping yesterday then spent the evening at a friends so it's actually cost me money! Spent most of today doing boring domestic chores and fighting with the co-habiting ex! Its all good fun here..........

    actually I got stung by that before - the garage actually taxed the car but put themselves on the log book as an owner instead of asking for my insurance! My car then had an extra owner on the details even though it was only for a few days.
