I have some friends who develop property. They always live in one when it is finished for six months before selling it - apparently this avoids all the capital gains etc but obviously you need to check it out.

What a long weekend for me! 3 and a half hours to get to Martin's (one hour of that parked on the M6!!!!) done over 600 miles this weekend and spent over a hundred quid on fuel (ouch!) Had a great time, thanks to Martin and Liz for the great hospitality, meeting their village idiot and a cooked brekkie this morning! I was tempted to slap Beavis but couldn't bring myself to! Disappointed not to meet some of the people who never made it (Digsy, Mike, Keith!) But at least I got to meet Mr and Mrs Pieman! Definitely a good icebreaker for me and maybe I'm not as geographylexic as i thought........... Oh, and 2 hrs 15 mins back at full pelt down the motorways, only to drive past a hidden police camera van right not far from home doing 36 in a 30! Bummer!

Stew I have a shiny kitchen and I don't bother with any of the products just use E-Cloth system. Thick microfibre cloth damp for wiping it down then a thin glass polishing cloth just buffs it to a complete streak free gleaming finish. Just google e-cloth. P.S brilliant on the car as well. Edit: and remember I am the girl that got the oil smell out of your washing machine so trust me!

and my car will be dirty unless I can persuade Martin to clean it for me as suggested by another member!

Just watched this last night and I was so impressed - there is definitely a natural talent there. The music at the end was great as well. As I said to Jay my only criticism would be the over use of the letter J!
