Ok Liam. I think I have some good news. Every single image of the screen I've looked at on a JDM model (not us) is in English except one. "Driver notes". I think you could live with that. I've yet to find an image of the sat nav or the stereo which is also integrated into the display. I'm with you on the radio. Never listen. Traffic reports are few and far between here and suck. Also a mate of mine is a DJ on the national station here and says he's the only one left that doesn't have a set playlist. All the others are told what to play or have no control and the studio engineers/producers take over.

So, radio wont work cos off the different bands, sat nav will be in Japanese and the few buttons that aren't part of the touch screen will also be in Japanese. I'm sure you could change the brain/control unit to a UK one for a small fee but the stereo and dvd (if it has it) wont work(well). I would guess prices for the control unit will be high. Buttons could also be changed over to UK spec.

I know what you mean but has anyone seen the sat nav on the GTR? All the screen shots are of the technical info. I'll find a better pic when I get to work to try and explain better.

I drive it as it should be. I don’t wait about. Back end has never stepped out without being provoked. All the threads I’ve been reading lately about loosing it and blaming the tyres and TC are just crap in my opinion. Ultimately someone suggest diesel on the road. No one ever suggests they stuffed it. Never changed the tyres on either of my Z’s yet still found it was like it was on rails. They’re not the best tyre available but they’re not @*!#. Same for the TC. It’s not the best but it’s easy to learn to live with it and if you have any experience and talent you can turn it off and drive an excellently balanced car.

There's no way I'd import a new car knowing there's zero support. Second hand is a different story but not new.

At least Giancarlo Fisichella is out.
