Paintshield is the clear plastic stuff. I got the complete front done about two weeks ago by another company. Bonnet piece was a one piece job as opposed to two or three pieces. Looks great but the supplier isn't happy and wants to do it again. Fine by me.

I'm going to say scam. We had one about 2 years ago on Irish buyers site. BMW 5 or M5 or something very nice. Same story. Paint over car. About 10k on the clock. Valued at about 80 or 90k Eure before new paint. Car was in her name. Withdrawn very quickly. Think it turned out to be a radio station that ran the advert. Oh yea, she only wanted about 10k for it.

Very interesting post bronzee. You suggest a number of possibilities for the clunking noise and in my drunken haze I'd guess at least one is right. I remember with my old Z it was at standstill while changing from 1st to reverse that made the noise so maybe it was the drive shaft. Anyway I sold that Z with 16k miles on it I think.

Nice one. I like the Z4M coupe a lot. Shame the price is huge and servicing is BMW. Looks great especially when you remember the gay Z3 and throw in the M. Nice.

I had this on my old 04. It was a clunk noise alright. Sounded like an old 4x4 engaging reverse. Only happened when changing from 1st to reverse. Never fixed it. Bought a new one instead.

I read today that the "list", which is totally unoffical, was at 200 or 250 or something like that. I would only approach a dealer that I know is going to be allowed sell/service the GTR. I think one review said there'd be 50 dealers in Europe. In Dublin the main dealer I use has already told me they wont be asking Nissan for a demo.

Yea but there's no way in hell you'd of cut that corner in you own car. You probably wouldn't of thought of it. In his head he's thinking fastest route round the corner. Absolutely no fear. That’s what makes a champion F1 driver and there’s no doubt that he will be. -

In fact my memory is so bad I've discovered that they weren't white. Mook made them in black with white numbers and I replaced the orange leds with blue. Cost about £95 for the new face.

I had a white face made for my Celica. Opened the clocks, lift out the overlay and replace with the new ones. I had them made by Mook from the celica club. Don't know if he's ever done a Z. http://www.skewer.co.uk/

Hell no. Black and GT4's are the best combo. Awesome plate Crappy tax disk holder lol, tax holder is on the other side. That's the shite RAC membership thing. 1 year free with car. As for the plate, there's a letter and two numbers missing. Besides most people don't know what the car is.

This is where you have to go. Nissan motor in Ginza. Thats the show room where those pics above came from I think. Apparently if you call ahead you can arrange a test drive depending on where your driving license is from. i.e. a UK one should be fine where as an international one is just crap.
