Although I’ll freely admit the Evo is a performance car, in my mind I’ve always classed the Subaru and Evo as mad road going rally cars in a league (battle) of their own which may or may not be over now that Subaru have moved to a hatch.

I bet its good with the steering and throttle though.. With the pad im finding it difficult to get the power down smoothly without it snatching, especialy in something like the NSX-R. With the skyline and its 4wd its not too bad as i just 4wheel drift out of bends. What have everyone been getting on B license race 6? Managed to get 1st after a few goes wasnt easy though.. 1st in all the B's. Been using my mates PS3 as I had to cancel my order. Crap online service from dabs.ie. Anyway, I find there's no point in playing without a wheel and peddles. You don't have the throttle and brake control with the controllers. My biggest problem now is braking with new wheel as I'm using my left foot for the clutch (obviously) and my right to brake. I’m used to not braking very much in real cars as I tend not to be driving at 150mph so I'm finding myself subconsciously gently pressing the peddle approaching the corners.

Been laughing for a while at this one.

Got my new wheel today. Sooooo much harder using a clutch. Makes it much more interesting.

I thought JDM cars didn't have an immobiliser?

My car as an Irish car is all in km's. The average fuel comsumption is ltr/100km's. So mine is currently at 15.5 ltrs used per 100km's. According to www.fuel-economy.co.uk/calc.shtml this works out to 18.22 mpg. My ltr per km is 0.155 and my km per ltr is 6.45

Once you finish A, B and C you get the S group to do. Now you can tune cars but there's no mod as such.

The only reason I've had to wait this long to buy GTA4 is because of the delays in developing it for the xbox.

Finished group C and most of B. Got me an R35 GTR fairly quickly. Now I have two bloodshot eyes and have to go to work in the morning. Great game.

Time to go to my mates house to see if this game is any good.

To be honest I would advise any of the Logitech range. I only ordered the new one to make things interesting and it's the first time someone has made a controler with a clutch.

Either get the one I ordered, the Logitech g25, or the one I gave my mate. Logitech Driving Force Pro I think. Both have progressive accelerator and brake peddles as opposed to full on/full off.

Don't laugh at my stupidity you leprechaun Prologue is 6 tracks and about 70 cars. It's been reported that the Top Gear test track will be available to download as well as other updates throughout the year but there's no confirmation on this yet.

I so excited even though I'm stuck in work and will have to wait another 3-5 days for it all to arrive. Will just have to go to a mates house and use his PS3 and my old wheel.

Pointless when you've got the paddles on the steering wheel True but I'm hoping it'll make some of the more powerfull cars more driveable with all the pussy driving aids turned off. There are seats available for about €400 or €500.

Cant wait. Just ordered my PS3 and Prologue package. £325 incl shipping. Looks like I'll have the wheel and peddles before the game and console. Did you see it has a clutch peddle and a 6 speed gate shift?

Because they're not particularly intelligent people. They're not in it for the job. It's all about the pseudo celebrity thing. Get on TV. Make a tit of yourself. Get paid to do things like celebrity big brother, that jungle thing, games shows and as many inches as you can get in the tabloids. I bet half the people who applied for it also applied for big brother and pop idol. I did watch a bit of the first series but now I can’t put up with it.
