    Interesting comment on topgear.com
  2. Saw a pair on ebay once from a US seller but wasn't willing to ship to EU.

That’s got to be a typo. 2.0 turbo produces 211bhp yet the “flagshipâ€
  4. What impact does this have on the car’s balance? Have you reduced weight on the front to match?
  5. I know that name for some reason. Did they do Colin McRae Rally or something?
  6. Don't think it's a repost but I did see it earlier today. To be honest dyno's don't interest me. Between differing results with different machines, operators and conditions it becomes a bit annoying. Didn't Ben dyno his and claim 520bhp?
  7. Seen it before. You can see the Irish reg on the truck and the Irish copper in the back ground. Last pic couldn't be any faker.

    GT-R

I was told in Geneva by the reps that UK spec will not be entirely finalised until later this year as production for the UK will not commence until December. I did relay the disappointment at the colour option. Having said that the only changes in spec I would expect to see are possibly in the suspension setup, maybe the exhaust note just like the changes the Z got prior to UK release. I’d post pics but you’ve all seen them by now. Went to the show on Tuesday evening for a few hours and found there was a very small crowd there. Went again on Wednesday morning/afternoon and it was packed.
  9. Pick a neutral location for collection on a set day. You couldn’t be any fairer then that. I wouldn't give address.

    New Scirocco

Had a good look at the Scirocco in Geneva. In white it sucked but in red it looked really good. Obviously haven't driven it but I'd tell mates that are looking a a golf to take a look at one of these. Love the shape of the bonnet.
  11. Just show up and get them at the door. I'm just back. Went twice. Tuesday and Wednesday.
  12. Sure that wasn't the transmission whine?
  13. Back? Does that mean you just got a black Z?
  14. HELL NO! Even though the slightest bit of rain leaves my Z looking like she has light brown chicken pox I still love it. That house reflected in the rear is easily 15m away and as usual it lashed hail and rain seconds later.
  15. Fairly shitty here last night but not as bad as reported. Due to be bad tonight but I don't care. (Park underground) They've been reporting it as the “Storm of the Centuryâ€
  16. If dealer is paying for parts let them replace the stereo with a UK one.
  17. Was there an impact at some point? Might just be the photograph but on the far left and directly under the burn mark there appears to be a sizeable scuff.
  18. Screw the GTR my mission on Wednesday is to see the girls on the Lambo stand.

  21. Cops issue parking tickets here. They use a little machine to enter the details the walk off. Nothing left on the windscreen. First you hear of it is in the mail. I haven't got one yet but when I do I'll happily fight it in court if need be. The only evidence is the cops recollection. There's no photography. He enters the registration number and bang you have a ticket. In your case, parking in a disabled space is a big no no but as the guys say you can't be done twice in the same spot if you haven't moved. Same goes for clamping. I tell people who are clamped to wait until they finish work or are nearly finished work before calling for it to be removed. Why pay more in parking when you've got the fine already.
  22. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong here. You heard a rattle. That’s all. You had it recovered to garage by the RAC. Was the car driveable at this point and you had it towed as a precaution or was it going nowhere? I ask because the garage told you the flywheel was shattered. If it was my understanding is that the car would of been virtually immobile. This is a standard Z flywheel. The disc part with all the teeth. http://www.automotiveforums.com/350z/im ... C00942.jpg Crap picture but it might give you an idea of what you should have been looking at. When they showed you the clutch and flywheel was it actually shattered? I would of expected more then a rattle if it was.
  23. There is a good vibration in the gear stick. Both my Z's did/do it. Mostly noticeable at idle but sometimes when off the power decelerating. None of the usual and strange noises quirks the Z makes are audible or noticeable when accelerating. It’s probably the clutch/release bearing which if replaced would probably start doing it again fairly quickly.
