I was going to get an import until I had a bad experience with an importer. I eventually bought a UK for £1000 more than an import which was offset against my insurance savings over a couple of years (admiral seems to be cheap for 350z's). I decided early on that I was not fussed about the GT version. 1) It is rare to get the opportunity to use the cruise control 2) With a 3.5 V6 under the hood belting out so much heat I would have never switch on the heated seats 3) The bose stereo is awful and is hard to wire up after market HU's to the existing bose speakers. 4) Leather seats are nice but burn your legs/arm when in the sun. 5) You adjust your seat rarely you dont need an electric motor to do it (is also expensive to replace if goes wrong. The only one I miss is not having the Rays Alloys. My pennies worth anyway...I guess I am going to have most people with GT's disagree with me now

AS long as you buy the correct loom there are no wire slices at all.

BT Adaptor for sale brand new but not in the box. £85 including posting and packing and insurance...

ahh well, is never easy... I would have to buy a device that connects the phone loom to the clarion dont know if that is possible... off to google... Does no one have an after market head unit and uses the BT adaptor then?

I do have a phone mute on my clarion but have no idea how to wire it to get the call over the speaker. Anyone have the bluetooth adaptor with an after market unit? Help appreciated

There is always another question... I presume the sound comes out of your existing stereo system... The first thing I did when I purchased the car is install another stereo. how does the wiring work with an after market stereo to get the bluetooth kit to work again? Thanks in advance...

My 3rd Service is due next month. I have just been quoted £240 for it. How does that compare and are there any cheaper services in the south? I may supply my own oil again, I know nothing about oil recommendations please? Is the MOT due this year or next year? Edit: Actually think I am confusing myself... My Car is 3 years old next month. Which service is this and will it need an MOT as well?

Just for note. I spend 3 months looking for mine. I was going the import route but I am glad I spent the extra and bought a UK one. I travelled to London in the end and bought mine. Be prepared to travel for a good value one...

A lot of it is staged for entertainment. My friend was doing the filming on the gunship trying to get a weapons lock on a TVR (I think). The show gave the impression the gunship could not get a lock becuase of the manoverability and speed of the car. THis lasted minutes... In reality the gunship got a lock on the car in less than a second.

I had a similar rattle and took me ages to figure out where and it turned out to be my tax disk holder vibrating against the screen...

It looks like the bose surround is just bolted on... I wonder... Still is worth thinking about as it is a lot of wasted space...
