OK, I know I have owned a Z for coming up 3 years but... When you press and hold the trip computer button it defaults to Time, is there a way to get it to default to another function?

There are also plans to charge residents who park on roads extra if their car is longer than average or has high CO" emissions. Where does it stop?

They need to persuade you out of your car with lowere public transport costs not riase the cost of motoring to make public transport look better. A day peak return ticket on the train from Bournemoth to London is £78. I can fly to moscow for that... When I was looking for Z I hired a car to look at one in York. I picked up a Golf, had it overnight, drove up to York and dropped it off and got a train from york to London. The train fare was more expensive than me hiring the car. I am hiring a care and driving from Miami to Dallas in Sept. Car and insurance is only £700 for 3 weeks. Sigh!

Which would be fine if the government said it was spend there rather than saying drivers have to pay for congestion, upkeep of the road, polution at an ever increasing rate. NI is supposed to pay for health service, IE everyone should pay it. Drivers should not have to subsidise things not related to roads, public transport. When evryone gets pushed onto bikes who is paying for cycle lanes, roads, AN Other then?? Sigh!

I have tomtom v6 on my phone which is exactly the same version as all the other tomtom units with the added ability of adding maps for use abroad.

I have bought the professional one. Got £50 rebate for my old angel so cost £200. Another plus is you get 6 months subscription free and as my old one had ran out thought it was a good time to upgrade. I know sat nav and phone can have a camera database but is no where near as acurate as the road angel.

If your phone is almost out of contract get an o2 orbit 2, has built in sat nav..

I had the road angel professional arrive today. First thoughts are: Has an 8 hour battery so I can get rid of the cable comming up my airvent. Tells your the speed you should be going at when you hit a speed camera. Have the option of warning about camera can locations. Looks wuite nice on my dash :-) Has a remote so no more leaning across the dash. You can get a £50 rebate for your old Angel A major plus for the connected version is that if a drive sees a speed trap he can flag it and that gets updated to all the other road angels in the vicinity.

I added my girlfiend as a named driver (although she doesn't know or need to know) and my premium went down by £70. This is with admiral, my policy is now only £340 protected fully comp

I've emailled them to ask about postage to the UK, and will give it a go if its reasonable. I tried the Langka kit, but was unhappy with the colour match of the Halfrauds paint a mate made up for me. If this is a reasonable price, it will hopefully do a better job It says on the website to use shipping option 3 to post to the UK
