Has anyone been to Thailand in August? I have always gone at the end of the year and am used to just walking into a hotel and getting a room. Is it busy in August and will I need to book a room. Am going to the usual destinations, Koh Samui, Phuket, Krabi and maybe singapore... Ta

Hey Kenny, I'm doing the same! Can't do two weeks or more due to my mate I'm going with but doing about 10 days. My plan is starting off with the Mustang convertible, then changing to a Corvette Convertible for a couple of days with the Shelby for a few days! Think we will be doing LA, San Diego, Vegas and San Fran etc. With some fun and sights in between! Anyway all booked so fly over on the 17th August! Ahh cool. I did a spontanous trip to Vegas last year. We did a round trip of Vegas, Anaheim, Sandiego and LA. Was in a VERY cheap rental car so this time should be great.

I just booked a driving holiday across the states for 2 weeks. We are Hiring a Ford Shelby 5.4L V8 but I did notice you can hire a 350z... Should be great fun....

I had a bad experience of them in that they "lost" the paperwork so could not guarantee that it was the year they said it was. Took ages and lots of phone calls to get my deposit back. Ended up buying a newer uk car for only a grand extra.

Also has the great benefit of a GPS receiver in it and I have managed to put TOMTOM on it. Also has everything you would ever need.... Bluetooth, WIFI, Camera, Outlook, Excel etc....

Ok, some people may be genuinally disabled but it anoys me when someone parks on the road, in a place which is inconvienient to other drivers and is further from the drivers destination than the "pay" car park... Grrrr:angry:

I would not mind that rate of pay considering they are push fit an dyou could fit all 7 in about 14 seconds...

A while ago I got my car hung up on a verge and it damaged the black lip on the front of the car. I had it off this weekend and got it mainly back into shape but noticed I have lost several of the little metal clips on the bottom. It is these mainly that retain the contact betweent the lip and the body work. Anyone know what these are called and where i can buy some? Thanks.

Have you guys noticed the number of SPECS cameras popping up? I noticed there are 2 pais one on northbound M3/M25 and southbound on M3/M25. Also I read over the weekend about the Welsh police ****stable is looking into cats eyes speed cameras... Even if we all drove smart cars is still so easy to speed....

Spoted a GM on the A30 yesterday, a blue one on Guildford high street and then a GM one on northbound M3 about 8am this morning.....

mmm, dont do low bumpers after getting my car hung up on a verge this weekend...

I was just curious how much a new standard front bumper would be. Mine is splatered with paint chips (should have done paintshield) and is the only thing anoying me about my car. Thanks

Cheers guys, It is ok, I have touched it up and polished it out, doesnt look too bad now. Only noticed if pointed out. The z handbrake really Pisses me off though. If it were not for the kind people who helped dont know how i would have got off the verge.

Excellent cheers. Am off to Denmark for a few days tomorrow (anyone know any good bars?) so will check next weekend. It looks as though it is just bent around the divers side clip. Wont know until I get it off
